1. How I obtained the Fa
One day in June, 2004, I went to a Chinese supermarket to shop with my
husband. I picked up a VCD titled "Real Story". After watching the
movie, I told my husband, Falun Dafa is so good and miraculous. We are
now in our 50s. What worries us most is health problems. Dafa has such
great healing effects, and we live in US so we are free from Chinese
Communism. So we should learn these exercises. Who won't learn it
unless a fool? Let's hurry up. So we found the free instruction site,
learned the exercises and obtained the Fa.
2. Witness of the miracles of Dafa
When I read Zhuan Falun, I knew this was not a usual book. When I read other books, I got tired easily. But I was not tired reading Zhuan Falun
and finished the book quickly. I was very excited. I knew this was what
I had been looking for all my life. Now I had found it. As the Chinese
saying goes: "You search everywhere but don't find it; you obtain it
effortlessly." And I don't have to spend money. I came to the US
recently after living in China for 40 years. In the US, I have always
been short of money so I didn't want to spend money. I was especially
excited and moved. I decided to follow Master and cultivate till the
end.
Shortly afterwards, I experienced several supernatural abilities, such
as opening the Third Eye, the ability of knowing fate, and "levitating
in broad daylight," [the last of which] happened in [one of] my
dream[s].
The Third Eye I Know
Two months after I began practicing, I was a bit tired after reading
the Fa. I wanted to rest in the bed. When I closed my eyes, I saw a
tunnel. Its color changed from dark to bright. A golden Buddha statue
appeared which was exactly like the one in the exercise instruction
tape. This smashed the notion insisted upon by the CCP that belief is
spiritual. Belief is empty and not real. You won't be able touch or see
it. This scene also cleaned the poison in my mind, and strengthened my
faith in Dafa. It made me believe that Dafa is real and reliable. And I
know that truth exists, as well as the Buddha Fa. At that point, I
wished I had known Dafa earlier.
Soon I saw the big eye given by Master's law body. It's my own eye.
It's the same shape and size as my current eye. But it's much prettier
and it twinkles very brightly.
Just Master said in Zhuan Falun, Lecture Two;
"Such a big eye was looking at them and blinking, and it was so vivid. But it's actually your own eye."
"Some of us will sense or see that Eye. It has the same nature the
universe has, so it's innocent, and it's curious. It looks in to see if
your Third Eye has been opened and to check out if you can see, and it
looks in at you. "
I share this because many other practitioners can't see and we are all
practicing the same Fa under the same Master. If one sees it and tells
about it, it is just like everybody sees it.
The Ability of Knowing Fate
In July 2005, my husband and I went on a cross-country road trip,
spanning 18 states. Our final destination for the trip was Washington
DC, [where we would attend] the Fahui and meet with our great,
compassionate Master. That was most important thing about the trip. But
Master didn't show up. I had seen Master before, so I was OK not seeing
Master that time. There was one elderly Chinese lady sitting next to
me. She had practiced many years and came from France with her
daughter. She had never seen Master before. I could understand her
eagerness to meet Master. But she was really calm when Master didn't
show up. All of us were also calm. I felt that practitioners were
different from ordinary people. I also realized practitioners living in
US were really really lucky. That night, I went to the Candlelight
vigil to commemorate Chinese practitioners who lost their lives in the
persecution. We also participated in the rally and parade to support
Chinese quitting the party.
When we returned home, the following Saturday, we planned to go to the
group Fa study. Then my attachment of laziness surfaced. I didn't want
to go, so I made up excuses, such as I had to do laundry, this and
that, etc. So I wanted to tell my husband not to go to Fa study this
time. I just had this thought. Even before I said it, I felt tired so I
meditated. When I sat down, I saw things in the future, just as Master
said
"The form that the ability of Knowing Fate takes is that at the
forehead there's something like a small TV screen. For some people it's
at the area of the forehead, for some it's close to the forehead, and
for others it's inside the forehead." _ Lecture Two in Zhuan Falun.
I saw two white minivans driving together on the freeway. It
disappeared right away. This was very miraculous. I realized that it's
Master who wanted me to enlighten to something. Master's law body is
always at our side. Master knows our thoughts and behaviors. So no more
excuses and I shouldn't be lazy. I told my husband to prepare to go to
the group Fa study.
Levitating in Broad Daylight
Master said: "And it can bring about different cultivation states and
different forms of gong. It can bring us a unique cultivation state,
too. And what's the state? Maybe you have read in some of the ancient
books, like Legends of Immortals, The Book of Elixir, Daoist Canon, or Guide to Nature and Longevity,
where they talk about something called "levitating in broad daylight."
It's about a person flying up into the air in broad daylight. I can
tell you that a person can actually levitate as soon as his
Macro-Cosmic Orbit is opened. It's that simple. " "Lecture Eight" in Zhuan Falun.
Last April, I had a very vivid dream. I was lying in bed. But my
primordial spirit went out and I was not afraid at all. In the dream, I
was taking a walk in the afternoon. I saw people flying kites with
Falun emblems. About 20 or 30 of them were connected to one another
like a chain. It was just like one type of kite that I used to see when
I was little in my hometown. It's very colorful and bright. I was happy
to see this. I thought that's great that we use Falun emblems on a
kite. Suddenly, my body was flying up in the air. Afternoon became
evening. I saw stars in the sky. I was moving up very fast, but I was
not afraid. I thought that I didn't cultivate well, where I can go? If
I elevated too high and all the stars look the same in the universe,
how do I know which one is Earth? Wouldn't I be lost? No, I can't go
any higher. With such a thought, I stopped. Then my body was moving
horizontally. But I didn't walk up in the air, and there was no machine
to carry me. But I can move freely and smoothly as if I had
consummated. When I was 2-stories above the ground, I looked down. I
saw a couple, hand in hand. They also looked at me while walking. We
weren't surprised when we looked at each other. It was a short dream,
which I will never forget.
That's what I have experienced in Dafa. Of course, I had more to share.
But "cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master." I am
healthier and happier now. I have upgraded my xinxing and my gong has
increased step by step. All this I attribute to my firm belief in Dafa
and Master. I believe only Master can take us back to our own home to
obtain everlasting happiness.
Before I obtained the Fa, I always complained and felt mistreated by
others. I was also very selfish and stingy. Now I understand the
principles of Dafa and reached a healthy state of mind and body.
Ordinary people also talk about mind and body, now I know the real
meaning of a healthy mind and body.
Prior to obtaining the Fa, I also regretted that I didn't have a good
father. My father often cursed my mom and my siblings. He released his
hatred of the CCP on us. In 1960, he offended some CCP official. The
official said, "If you are against me, you are against the CCP." So he
was thrown into jail for a year. He must have suffered a lot in jail.
But he never said a word. Whenever we mentioned the evils of the CCP,
he was very furious. But he dared not tell others. When I mentioned
asking Chinese to quit the party and its affiliated organizations, he
agreed with it. Under the CCP's evil rule, I lived in China for 40
years and narrowly escaped three times. I have no regrets now that I
obtained the Fa. I have a well-respected Master, who is our teacher
(Shi) and father (Fu) as well. Master protects us and reminds us to
walk steadily on our cultivation path.
Lastly, let me finish with Master's poem:
Nothing Kept
In life, nothing sought,
In death, regretting naught;
Washing away all wrong thought,
Buddhahood, with less
adversity, is wrought.
