[PureInsight.org] When the thought 'We should take the initiative' emerged in my mind, I suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of clarity.
In our daily life, Dafa disciples are often decisive, striving for excellence in both their personal and professional lives. Those who are particularly capable tend to act efficiently, firmly taking the initiative, and often achieving success. However, when facing tribulations in the Fa-rectification, we find that many fellow practitioners, including myself, seem to lose our composure and at a loss. When confronted with the unknown and uncontrollable, we may experience anxiety, helplessness, or even fear.
Recently, a fellow coordinator in our area suddenly fell into a coma due to karma and was put on a ventilator. Everyone began sending forth righteous thoughts for him. Before doing so, a fellow practitioner reminded us, "He has a significant influence in ordinary society. If something happens to him, the impact will be..." These words made me realize that we must not let him go. For the sake of sentient beings, for the whole body, and for himself, we absolutely cannot let him go. It must be the arrangement of the old forces trying to take him away. Therefore, while sending forth righteous thoughts, I firmly thought: No one can interfere with Master’s disciples. The old forces have no right to intervene. All interfering factors must be eliminated. Within a day, the ventilator was removed, and he regained consciousness. This experience profoundly demonstrated the power of righteous thoughts, strengthening our faith in sending forth righteous thoughts and assisting Master in the Fa-rectification.
This incident reminded me that in the Fa-rectification process, we must take the initiative.
Master’s disciples and sentient beings—Master is in charge. The old forces have no right to interfere. If it is not what Master wants, we do not acknowledge it, and we must not compromise or turn a blind eye in the slightest. What Master wants is what we must do. And what we must do is to use righteous thoughts and divine powers to create the future—not to passively "counteract" but to take the initiative and lead.
Although these Fa principles are clear all along, something is amiss. Where exactly was the problem? It lies in the fact that we do not know what will happen in the future. When a piece of news comes out, we often cannot discern whether it is the work of righteous gods or evil forces, whether it is a natural elimination or a malicious destruction of life by evil. Because we cannot see clearly, and because we have been accustomed to going with the flow in our personal cultivation, we have inadvertently given evil an opening. We have been targeted by evil for so long before finally realizing it. However, in this Fa-rectification period, we must take the initiative to safeguard the Fa and protect the lives we are meant to save. How should we do this?
I believe that if we are true cultivators and have strong righteous thoughts, Master will surely enlighten each of us on how to act and how to do better. When the surface level and our true selves work in harmony, we will undoubtedly form a stronger whole and achieve boundless success. Master said in Zhuan Falun, "Some people say, ‘While a Tao is one foot tall, a demon is one yard high.’ That is a false saying among everyday people. A demon will never be higher than a Tao." Therefore, although the situation may appear dire, in reality it is nothing but a paper tiger. We must not allow them to stir up further chaos, let their schemes succeed, or even suffer the slightest loss. With this unwavering righteous thought, when we send forth righteous thoughts, our divine side will surely know how to act.
