[PureInsight.org] I read the Minghui.org feature article "Our Master" over and over again, letting my tears flow freely. Only our Master has such compassion that can transform hearts and souls, and such great grace that can shake the universe.
What shocked me the most was that I have been practicing for nearly 30 years, but I have never seen Master in person. In my mind, I imagine Master to be: radiant, compassionate, and majestic. Although I know that Master always looks peaceful and warm when he teaches the Fa to His disciples, I think that Master in real life should be as solemn and sacred as a Buddha statue. If people can see Master in person one day, it can only be like the performance of Shen Yun, where Master descends from the sky with divine light. But our Master appears before people in such a simple, honest, amiable and respectable way.
What I can’t stand is that Master, who has purified the body, mind and soul for hundreds of millions of disciples, borne huge karma for sentient beings, and brought infinite benefits to mankind, has personally been doing things for decades, going to construction sites, carrying wood, cleaning sewage pits, picking up nails on the roadside, etc. Even among ordinary people, he would be enjoying his old age in his 70s, but our Master doesn’t want money, a car or a house, and lives in the dormitory and competes with disciples for heavy physical work! As I write this, tears well up again and again!
I know how insignificant and narrow-minded I am. Although I am nearly 60 years old, I will no longer complain about twisting my waist to move a few boxes of truth-clarification materials. I know that I am now not strong enough because I did not practice the exercises well. We follow Master to cultivate Falun Dafa, and we must endure hardships, and we must endure them happily and willingly. We do not seek fame, profit, or emotional attachments. We should not fight back when we are beaten or scolded. We should always think of others first, and give to others and society without regrets. We should work hard and live well, respect the elderly and love the young, live in harmony with our neighbors, follow the Fa, and be better than sentient beings based on the universal characteristics of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
Many of us have been deprived of the right to a normal life for many years and have been living in hardship due to the persecution by CCP (Chinese Communist Party). However, even if we eat less and drink less, we still save money to make materials to save people. Many Falun Dafa practitioners have been persecuted and imprisoned, but they still disregard their own safety and tell the truth to the police and judges who persecuted them, urging them to choose kindness and a better future.
The evil Chinese Communist Party has been persecuting Dafa for more than 25 years, but has not been able to defeat Falun Gong. Now it has extended its evil hands to the United States, manipulating bad people to attack Shen Yun, Falun Gong and slander our Master. A former student and former actor trained by Fei Tian for free for many years was deceived by the devil CCP, and slandered Fei Tian and Shen Yun. However, our Master smiled and called Fei Tian's students and Shen Yun's young actors "children." That former student and former actor who sued Fei Tian was also a "child" and was compassionately cared for by our Master for many years.
So we know that no matter who treats us badly, we will not bear grudges, and we should still be kind to everyone. If anyone sends us evil, we will turn it into good virtue. We will only give kindness without asking for anything in return. Because this is what our Master does, so the disciples should do the same.
We are Master's disciples, we practice Falun Dafa, and we must follow our Master closely, cultivate compassion that can melt steel, assist Master in Fa-rectification, assist Master in saving people, have no complaints or regrets, and never give up.
