[PureInsight.org] From studying the Fa, I enlightened to that if one cultivates to a realm of selflessness, one would easily be able to take care of all problems that arise in the workplace, while also having the wisdom to take care of disturbances coming from any direction. Cultivation is unconditionally looking inward and cultivating oneself. It isn’t meant to obtain or resolve something; the state of nothingness is what Dafa requires of us. Only through true cultivation can one meet the standards of different levels. If there are things we don’t understand in cultivation, attachments could lead to crooked understandings, hence delaying the elevation of our realms.
I am not a very considerate person. Even before I started cultivating, I quarreled constantly. Others often gossiped about me, leading me to feel distressed and even dispute constantly. After I started cultivation, these things got a little better, but they still exist. Through years of improving myself, I had merely taken these things lightly; I told myself I was a practitioner and that I shouldn’t be the same as an everyday person. Afterwards, I read up on divinely inspired culture on the Zhengjian (PureInsight) website, and compared myself with the morals of ancient people. Only then did I realize that for our generation since the Cultural Revolution, all we know to do is fight and struggle. We know too little about history and even less so the concepts of divinely inspired culture.
Having Shen Yun DVD’s, I watch them whenever I have time. Even when I’m bored, I would watch them as well. While watching, my heart would unconsciously broaden. I would think that I need to study the Fa with more determination; only through finding my attachments can I break through my human mentality and progress toward Godhood.
Use the Fa to judge oneself. Upon encountering situations, if you can’t think of the other party at the first moment, think about what action you must take to truly be responsible to the other party. And this is not only about being good to others, because this concept of “goodness” is understood differently by different realms of people. For me, the requirements for being responsible to others are even higher. In my own understanding, this is a God’s state; only by cultivating to that level can you assume responsibility. After understanding this, my cultivation state went through some changes. My understanding was no longer limited to helping people, but rather to broaden my thinking to the responsibilities a person must shoulder. No matter at what realm we are, we have our own responsibilities and obligations. By thinking this way, I no longer seek anything. When others don’t understand me or even scold me, I wouldn’t doubt in my heart of being responsible for saving them.
Sometimes I become lax with my cultivation and I need to strengthen my willpower. There are some things I do well and other things I don’t do well. I thank fellow practitioners who have encouraged me!
