After the Thrill, Don’t Forget to Look Within

[PureInsight.org] At noon today, I rode my electric car out to do some shopping. Because there are fewer cars at noon, I rode very fast. When I was about to pass a crossroad, a battery powered vehicle suddenly ran a red light and came towards me from the right. My foot, which was still on the pedal, collided with the car’s wheel. It was a huge collision, and my vehicle flew backward 30 meters before stopping. When I turned back around, the car that had run the red light was already far from sight. The driver probably realized he was in the wrong, and was afraid that I would ask for compensation.

Though the collision made a large sound, my vehicle wasn’t damaged. Though my leg was hit, it didn’t hurt at all. My shoes were even excellent and undamaged. At that moment I realized that it was Master who was protecting me, otherwise I definitely would have fallen down, or at least have been lightly wounded. Instead, I didn’t have any problems.

When encountering problems, one must look inward, and this is a habit of mine. At the time I thought, it wasn’t right for the other side to run a red light, but where had I gone wrong? Firstly, one must concentrate when doing things; at that time I had been absent-minded. However, the most important factor couldn’t have been this simple. After further looking inside, I recalled that in order to save time, recently I would always run red lights, creating danger for both myself and others. Though at the time I didn’t run into any problems, the old forces had seen this, and were looking for an opportunity to test me. Hence, this problem appeared. It was thanks to Master’s protection that I was able to pass this test.

From this, I enlightened to that when looking within, even when we are correct in a given conflict, there still exist factors in which we are wrong. It could be that in the past we did similar things, or had similar thoughts. Only when we change our perceptions do we truly pass the test.
