[PureInsight.org] This is a true story that happened to my cousin over ten years ago. Until that time, my cousin and I had never been in touch, but one day, she suddenly came to my house to see me. It was actually to obtain the Fa through me. However, because of my fear of being persecuted, I was not really a diligent disciple at the time. My wife, also a cultivator, was in a state of "sickness”. As a result, we forgot our responsibilities as Dafa disciples and did not think to seize this opportunity of predestined relationship to spread the Fa and clarify the truth to my cousin so she could obtain the Fa. When I realized it later, I wanted to find her to make up for my mistake, but she did not leave an address or come back, so we could not see her. I was very regretful. I deeply understand that Master is compassionate toward sentient beings. Although it has been in the past for this long, I just thought to write this article. I’d like to ask Master: no matter where my predestined cousin is, I wish you could save her so my regret can be resolved. I don't think it is too late yet.
My wife and I obtained the Fa together in the beginning of 1997. After a while, Master purified our bodies to the purest state. But after July 20, 1999 when the persecution started, we grew an attachment to fear. Consequently, symptoms of “sickness karma" appeared on my wife in 2003. She could not be cured no matter what treatments she received. At the time, we knew that this cousin, who lived in the countryside and was not in her thirties yet, could tell fortunes, exorcise evil and treat illnesses effectively. She was quite famous locally. Because my wife and I both cultivated, we knew from Zhuan Falun that "…most small worldly paths use sorcery. It can heal people, but the methods it uses aren’t good, as it turns out. We won’t go into the methods it uses, but our practitioners who cultivate the Great Law shouldn’t use it since it has really bad, low-level messages.” Also, we never kept in touch with each other. Therefore, it was impossible for us to ask her to treat my wife’s "illness".
However, things turned out to be strange. One night at around eight o'clock in October of that year, this cousin of mine suddenly came to my home. She said, "Right now I live in a temple in the city. I know you are in the city, but I have never seen you. I have been asking around to find out where you live, so I have come to visit you for a little while. Then I will go become a nun." After hearing that, I did not know what to do or say, so I did not say anything. Next, she took a look at her cousin-in-law (my wife). She did not mention one word about "illness" or ask what "illness" my wife had. She was very excited and said, "I knew you're cultivating when I took a look at you. I also saw your Master. Your Master is so great that no one can compare to him. Just keep cultivating well. With those words being said, I cannot continue. Today, I will leave and go back to the temple after visiting my cousin and cousin-in-law. You don't need to let me stay." Less than ten minutes after she said that, I could not make her stay no matter what I said and could only let her leave.
After she left, both my wife and I felt very surprised. We had never contacted her. We had started Dafa cultivation, but we did not tell anyone because of the persecution. It was even more impossible for her to know about it. However, she stated it so accurately. It is evident that her inborn quality is good, and she is very predestined with Master and Dafa. At that time, my wife and I also felt regret. My cousin said that she would become a nun after seeing us, but why didn’t we think of spreading the Fa to her and guiding her to enter Dafa cultivation? When we thought about this, we decided to go to the temple to have a good talk with my cousin a few days later.
When we went to the temple, we heard that she only lived there for a few days and did not become a nun. It seemed that she went to a big city but did not leave the exact address. A few years have passed. I asked around again but did not find out where she was. Even today, we still do not know if she went to other places to become a nun or if she is doing some other work. Therefore, we are very regretful.
Afterwards, I talked with my wife and fellow cultivators based on the Fa. My wife stopped both medications and injections and came back to cultivation. I recalled my cousin, who said something so respectful toward Master and Dafa and so correct during the period of severe persecution of Dafa. It is evident that she is someone with good inborn quality and great predestined relationship. From her words we also understood that she was extremely proud of us for obtaining Dafa and hoped that we could cultivate well, cultivate seriously and really treasure this Dafa cultivation. However, at that time, we did not even think about helping her obtaining the Fa. When I think about it today, I know that no matter what I do, I cannot assume the responsibility of not letting this predestined sentient being obtain the Fa and be saved! It is good that we have a heart that is steadfast toward Master and the Fa. I hope that Master will give us one more opportunity after seeing this heart of ours.
