After several years of cultivation, the one thing that strikes me the most is that as a Fa rectification cultivator one must first possess “Righteous Enlightenment.” Master has said: “Righteous enlightenment is the origin of wisdom for the wise person.” (“Study Dafa” in Hong Yin)
We must enlighten to, understand, and realize correctly Master’s profound and boundless principle of the Fa. We must maintain a sober mind at all times. We must look at things from the standpoint of the Fa when things happen. We must truly attempt to comprehend the Fa from the point of view of the Fa and recognize the Fa from the standpoint of the Fa.
Several days ago, when some practitioners were sharing their experiences together, one practitioner raised the question of “Why is it that the more we clarify the truth to people, the less ordinary people understand Dafa?” I pointed out right then that this problem might only apply to those people that this practitioner came in contact with. I explained that I met did not have this problem. After I clarified the truth to them, they usually expressed their understanding and support of Dafa.
There is an article on the Minghui website related to this issue that opened up my mind a great deal in clarifying the truth to people.
The author brought up the fact that when we meet with a person or run into a situation, before we even start to act, the wheels in our mind have already started turning, “Will this person be receptive? What would I do if he/she doesn’t accept? How do I explain to her clearly? What do I start with?”
Now I have started to understand a little of “Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence.” (“Rationality”)
When clarifying the truth, we should first drop all kinds of human notions. When we are in a pure and clean state of heart without any kind of human notion, what are left will be “Rationality”, “Wisdom” and “Benevolence.” “Rationality”, “Wisdom” and “Benevolence” cannot be forced to manifest by intention. They will expose themselves naturally when we are in the state of pureness and righteousness, after we have cultivated to get rid of all notions and impurity. When we eliminate our own perceptions, have no human notions, only act and speak with a pure heart, then “Wisdom” and “Benevolence” will come out naturally. We will naturally know what to do, what to say, and our listeners will naturally understand. Everything will become automatic.
Therefore, when we “Clarify the truth,” “Expose the evil,” or “Offer salvation to people,” all actions should be under the guidance of “Righteous Enlightenment.” Only when there is “Righteous Enlightenment”, can there be “Pure insight,” Only when there is “Pure insight,” can we have righteous acts. And only with this, can we walk on a righteous path.
I will cultivate a new self with “Righteous enlightenment” in the course of Fa rectification.
