*Remain unmoved among all the human thoughts that come in waves
The idea is not to swim against the current of human thoughts,
Working so hard and eventually getting worn out
and succumbing to the flow.
The idea is to remain the rock solid element amidst the torrents,
the element that pulls in neither direction.
It just stays there.
And as you stay there with the power of Forbearance,
attachments and karma will naturally be washed away
and what remains will be pure gold.
Always calm, always happy - nothing can move you.
You will then naturally do the things a cultivator should do.
You know what the things a cultivator should do are,
but forcing yourself to do them is swimming against the current.
Remaining a rock, rooted in Dafa, amidst the torrents of humanness-
that is cultivation.
If you let go of the attachment, you don't even feel it's pull anymore.
