[PureInsight.org] In
Traditional Chinese medicine, there is a saying, "First, Bian stone;
Second, Acupuncture; Third, Moxibustion; and Fourth, Medicine." Which
means, in ancient China, when a doctor treated a patient, he would
first use bian stone. If it didn't work, he would use acupuncture
technique. If the acupuncture didn't work either, he would use
moxibustion utilizing some mugwort herb, and if none of them worked, he
would use medicine last.
Traditional Chinese medicine is imparted by gods, therefore its power
of healing is given by gods. In this different time of history, due to
the decline in human morality and wisdom, the power that the Chinese
medicine carries from the gods is different too.
In ancient China, some doctors could heal a patient merely by talking
with him. Because at that time, doctors' moral standards were very
high, this made it very easy to resonate with the Tao. Therefore, words
carried energy from the heaven, and could heal a patient's illness
without other treatment. Exposition of similar viewpoints can be found
in the chapter titled "Treatise on the Relocation of Essence and
Alteration of Qi" in Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Alchemy,
although from the exposition, one can see that people at that time only
knew of the existence of such a method, since the book did not
illustrate how to use the method specifically.
Today's Chinese medicine, integrated with Western Medicine and greatly
popularized, is not much different from Western Medicine in healing
power. The cases of healing patients by simply talking with them in
ancient times can only be regarded as myths.
However, history has entered a special era. The fantastic stories of
patients' illnesses being healed by talking to them have become a very
common thing. It's happening at any time and, moreover, no doctor is
needed. The patient can heal himself by saying certain things. From the
clearwisom.net website, one can find numerous cases of this. In many
cases, after patients chanted "Falun Dafa is good," or "Zhen-Shan-Zhen
(Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) is good," their stubborn
illnesses, which neither Chinese medicine nor Western medicine could
heal have, have all gone without a trace!
In Zhuan Falun, it is said, "The Buddha Fa is boundless." "The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities."
