[PureInsight.org] Now Teacher's Fa-rectification has progressed to the present stage, I often discovered that everything has been arranged and prepared for the Fa.
I have been working as an insurance agent at this company for 13 years, but for the past 13 years this company has never had any anniversary party.
In April 2005, my company hired a new General Manager, who used to be a tour guide in overseas countries, mainly in North America and Europe. I have only had two opportunities to talk to him after he arrived at his post. Each time he initiated the conversation with me. In our first dialogue, he said, "I have read the Chinese version of The Epoch Times newspaper in Germany. I truly admire this newspaper and its volunteer staff. I have seen your fellow Falun Gong practitioners who were mostly elderly folks bought many copies of Chinese The Epoch Times and distributed them to Chinese tourists staying at hotels." He has a very high regard for them. I gave him a book, The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
The second time he talked to me, I had just returned from the US and he had just returned from Germany. He told me, "I have seen a German TV report on the China Freedom Rally in New York City celebrating the fact that 100 million people have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), as well as the rally in Taipei for the same reason on Ketagalan Boulevard in front of the Office of the President." He believes that this is just the beginning of the trend to quit the CCP.
Partially because we have a new General Manager, my company planned a large party celebrating its 15th anniversary and invited all of our clients and important people from all the major insurance companies in Taiwan. At first, I was not very interested in this type of event, but a fellow practitioner quickly thought of using this opportunity to promote the book, The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She brought a tree to our company and invited our company to participate in the "Grow a Tree with Kindness" project to write kind messages on a piece of paper and tie these messages to the tree. The surface idea was that when the tree that receives our kind thoughts grows, it symbolizes that the kindness within us will grow too. She also invited the Taiwanese branch of The Epoch Times to come to interview my company on the day of the anniversary party for the experience of participating in the "Grow a Tree with Kindness" project. She had a discussion with me and suggested that we distribute The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to all the guests at the party. After we reached a consensus, we complemented each other and truly utilized this anniversary party for our truth-clarification work.
It rained like cats and dogs that day, but our company was filled with guests, including senior management from all the major insurance companies in Taiwan. We had had a difficult time coming up with a reason or an appropriate occasion to approach the senior management of large insurance corporations in Taiwan, but now they were all coming to the same party.
In the past when I talked to my colleagues, I found it difficult to come up with an appropriate conversation opener that leads to The Nine Commentaries of the Communist Party. This time The Epoch Times came to interview our company at our company's anniversary celebration party, so fellow practitioners volunteering at The Epoch Times were in a perfectly natural position to give its popular book, The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, as a gift to our several hundred employees of our company and our important clients and guests attending the party. At the party they also told the senior management of all the major insurance companies in Taiwan about the news that 150 million people have quit from the CCP. All the senior managers at the party were surprised and shell-shocked by the effect of the book. Many of them did not even know about this news. We felt that all the guests began to value the book in their hands. We also felt that the knowing side of all sentient beings had truly been waiting for us to tell them the truth about Falun Gong.
The party left me with a more profound understanding of our mission. I had a better understanding of what Teacher said about that everything has been arranged for the Fa. In each and every day there are many opportunities for us to clarify the truth.
