[PureInsight.org] I have a son and a daughter who both cultivate in Falun Dafa. My son turned fourteen and my daughter became nine years old in 2004. As for my husband, he has not yet started to cultivate in Falun Dafa. He often volunteers to help with Falun Dafa practitioners' local truth-clarification activities, although he occasionally complains that we don't spend enough family time together during weekends. When my son and I attended the 2003 U.S. Mid-West Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference in Chicago, my daughter and my husband stayed at home in D.C. After we returned from the conference, I was told of an interesting dialogue between them.
Daughter: D
Father: F
D: Dad, could you get me the bottle on the shelf?
F: Why don't you get it yourself? You can move a stool over and reach the bottle. Can't you see that I am busy?
D: (Looking slightly hurt) When mommy is at home, she always gets me things that I cannot reach. And Mommy is a lot busier than you.
F: That's not true. Mommy is only busy with Falun Dafa's truth-clarification work, but I am busy taking care of our entire family. Therefore, I am busier than mommy.
D: Dad, you take care of only one family, but we Dafa practitioners are taking care of the world's people.
F: (Silence)
