[PureInsight.org] I have been practicing Dafa for sixteen years. During the cultivation process, there were a lot of miracles happening under Master's compassion, such as careful concerns, patience and enlightenment. I want to share two stories with fellow practitioners to demonstrate Master‘s suffering to save the disciples. If there is any inappropriateness, please correct me.
1. How did a quilt have electric shock?
My husband and I are old Dafa disciples and we are over seventy years old. Since we have been practicing, Master purified our bodies. Until now, we have had no health problems at all. We deeply knew that our good health is for cultivation, rather than for the life of ordinary couples. Although we were sleeping in a bed for years, we slept without touching each other. We did not have any thoughts of lust. However, having studied the Fa and the cultivation of mind, we did not intend to control it. We did it naturally.
Last winter, when I came out from the bathroom one night, I felt cold and was shaking. I got in the bed quickly and covered myself with a blanket. I wanted to pull my husband's quilt to cover my body. My husband was still asleep. When my hand just pulled the quilt, I felt an electric shock. An electric current bounced my hand back. My hand felt numb. How did a quilt have an electric shock? It was because Master was afraid of me desiring lust which would affect my cultivation. When I thought of Master’s meticulous care, my whole body was full of a warm current. After I got up in the morning, I told my husband who was moved. We determined to get rid of any desire and attachments, and we did not disappoint Master for saving us.
2. Master gave me the practice score
I used to emphasize on memorizing the Fa before and I have recited the book “Zhuan Falun” three times already. However, I could not recite it after a while and I had a wrong thought. I thought I memorized the book but I could not recite it after a while. Instead of memorizing it, I decided to read it. I would memorize a few sentences or copy a whole paragraph if I thought they were necessary. Our Fa study group studied “What is Dafa disciple”, “Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference”and other Master articles, etc. I thought, “I am a Dafa disciple who is created by Dafa, and all my achievements today were from Dafa.” The book “Zhuan Falun” is guiding us from ordinary people to Gods. If I become a God, the other Gods will ask me about being a Dafa disciple. “What did Master tell you about in this Dafa book?” Maybe they will ask me a few specific questions. Can I use the content of the book to answer without any mistakes?
The book “Zhuan Falun” is the most important book in Dafa cultivation. It is the ladder to Heaven. I have practiced Dafa for over ten years. If I could not recite it, then how could I face Master? How could I be a qualified Dafa disciple? When I thought about this, I was determined to be able to recite this book. It is easy for me to forget. I always keep reciting it. If I could not recite it, I would read it repeatedly. It is as the old saying, “as long as you put in the effort, the iron rod will become a needle.” Could we, as Dafa disciples, do it? When I thought of this, my fear of hardships disappeared. I was full of confidence. I re-arranged my schedule. In addition to do the exercises, sending forth righteous thoughts, clarifying the truth to save people and chores every day, I also memorized the Fa. I would spend some of my spare time memorizing Master’s articles and “Hong Yin III.” However, I would spend most of my spare time memorizing “Zhuan Falun.” Whenever I was cooking or walking outside, I recited the Fa. If I could not remember it, I would read it again. For Master's blessing, I spent about a week to memorize “Hong Yin III.” I also memorized “Zhuan Falun” Chapter one. When I woke up one morning, my eyes were still not yet opened. I saw a report from Master in front of me. There was a line with the word “excellent” on it. The number of words “excellent” on the report was the same number of days I spent memorizing the Fa. I was very excited. This was the score which was given to me by Master for memorizing the Fa! Thank you Master for the encouragement!
In practice, I deeply appreciate Master for working tirelessly in every possible way to save us. Being Dafa disciples, when we face great Master and the sacred Dafa, are there any reasons for us not to be diligent? I determined to do the three things that were required by Master.
