[PureInsight.org] When writing down feelings and experiences today, I remembered an extremely horrible dream from last year. I realized immediately that this was a merciful hint from Master to write it down so as to help those “Dafa practitioners” who once betrayed fellow practitioners. Master hopes they can catch up.
1. An Extremely Terrifying Dream
I dreamt that my brother and I sent a fellow practitioner to take the city express bus. We saw him get on the bus through the front door. Just when the door closed, I heard someone calling me. Looking around, I didn’t see anyone, so I turned around and was about to leave. Just then, a rapid knocking sound came from inside the bus door. A person stood up inside the bus, desperately knocking on the door while shouting: “I’m Wu Guangming! I’m Wu Guangming!” When hearing this, I turned my head and looked and it was a fellow practitioner that I knew in the past. I called out to her: “Granny Wu, Granny Wu,” and she turned her head but didn’t answer no matter how I called. I slapped the outside of door hard but she just didn’t answer me. I suddenly felt that something was wrong and found a way to pry the door open with my hands. But at that moment the bus suddenly made a turn to my side; I’d be dragged and thrown under the tires if I kept on gripping the door. I had no choice but to loosen my grip and stood up after a tumble, unafraid. I didn’t have a bit of fear after that.
After standing up, I ran after the bus and found that all the people on it were former Dafa disciples, more than 70 of them. After I realized this I ran even faster after the bus. Suddenly I saw all the people on the bus turn into skeletons, and then the bus headed through a big entrance to an underground tunnel and descended into the ground. There was a big doorframe over the gate engraved with “Endless Hell.” In an instant I was astonished and stood still, stunned and extremely scared. I had never felt fear like that.
After waking up, I was still in extreme fear. There really existed an express bus in our area, and there really is a former practitioner called Wu Guangming who once betrayed 20 or 30 Dafa disciples. She was rather active in the past and knew many fellow practitioners. Since July 20th 1999, it was common in this area that illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners betrayed other practitioners; only a tiny number of practitioners were able to remain firm and not betray other practitioners and Dafa. This lasted for years, which led to severe estrangement among practitioners in this area. No real unified group of practitioners was formed, causing a great loss to saving sentient beings and the validation of Dafa.
Master addressed this type of situation and the consequences in “Dafa is Indestructible” in Essentials for Further Advancement II.
“Once a Dafa disciple has done what he shouldn’t do, if he isn’t able to truly realize its severity and redeem the losses he has brought to Dafa, everything and that millions upon millions of years’ wait will be fulfilled according to the vows made before history. As a Dafa disciple, everything of yours is formed by Dafa and is the most righteous, and it can only be that [you] rectify everything that is not righteous. How could you bow to the evil? How could you promise something to the evil? Even if it doesn’t truly come from your heart, it’s still giving in to the evil. This is bad conduct for humans, too, and Gods absolutely would not do such a thing. Even if a Dafa cultivator truly casts off his human skin during the persecution, what awaits him is still Consummation. At the same time, no attachment or fear could possibly enable you to reach Consummation. And any attachment of fear is itself a barrier that prevents you from reaching Consummation, and is also a factor in your being ‘reformed’ toward the evil side and in your betrayal.”
On the basis of the Fa taught by the revered Master, I realized at once that betraying fellow practitioners is committing a crime against Dafa. According to hints that Master gave to me in my dream, if the crime is big, going to “Endless Hell” is the punishment.
2. My Understanding of the Dream
I was very scared after waking from the dream, and this fear lasted several hours. Reflecting by myself, I strongly felt that something was wrong. I thought that my fear had been removed repeatedly in cultivation. Since the beginning of my cultivation until 1999, under revered Master’s protection I experienced several near misses from being killed by vehicles. I was not scared at that time, but became scared afterwards. After July 20th 1999, I endured several illegal detentions in labor camps and jails, facing critical tests multiple times. I experienced fear many times during those events. But it was very quick, lasting from no more than a few minutes to ten minutes. It was resolved by sending righteous thoughts or reciting the Fa. I was never in fear during the event or after the event for a couple of hours. My state after this dream therefore didn’t match at all the normal state that I had been in for years.
So I browsed Minghui.net and searched for “Endless Hell” in Master’s articles. In “Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference” Master said:
“But after those who have especially huge sins go to hell they are directly destroyed and sent to the Endless Hell, and once someone enters the gate of no-life he can never live again. That’s how it was in the past.”
After reading this section of Master’s Fa, I searched again for “gate of no-life,” and saw that revered Master said in “Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference:”
“With human beings... when a being can obtain the Fa today in history, it’s no ordinary thing—he’s so fortunate! But as soon as he loses the Fa, do you know what he faces? It’s really horrific, because when he fails to fulfill the major responsibilities and the huge missions that were bestowed upon him, then, accordingly, that’s like the inverse of a being’s Consummation, and he will truly have to enter the gate of no-life. You folks can’t just go and abandon a person without trying hard enough. No matter what kind of mistakes someone has made, or what kind of a person he is, I still want to give him a chance. Of course, in human society there are, after all, a number of people who aren’t good enough anymore, so just let them be. Today I’m mainly saying that our Dafa disciples need to do better, and we should cherish those who have obtained the Fa.”
“Those who haven’t done well should think carefully about these things, and be sure not to take Master’s mercy lightly. You don’t have to believe me; you can go about things your own way. But I have repeatedly said that the fact that such a major thing has come about in human society, that such a massive number of people have done all that they have in society, and the fact that the Fa that I, Li Hongzhi, have taught is something that people throughout the ages always wanted to know about and wanted to obtain but couldn’t, (applause) none of these things are by chance. Think it over calmly. Those who haven’t done well, make sure you don’t destroy your eternal life because of your irrationality and human attachments.”
After reading revered Master’s Fa, I knew this problem was very serious. Even Master said that “It’s really horrific.”
3. The Divine Side Was in Fear of the Most Horrific Thing in the Cosmos
After reading these two paragraphs of revered Master’s Fa, I thought that this was similar to the term “extinction of body and soul,” so I continued my search on this term and found Master said in “Explaining the Fa for Falun Dafa Assistants in Changchun from Explaining the content of Falun Dafa:”
“‘Shen (soul)’ refers to a person’s Primordial Spirit (Yuanshen). It’s extremely horrifying at the time of ‘complete extinction of body and soul’—whether it be the Main Primordial Spirit (Zhu Yuanshen), the Assistant Primordial Spirit (Fu Yuanshen), or various kinds of beings that go through this. Nothing in the entire cosmos is more horrifying. In other words, everything is annihilated and nothing remains.”
After reading this, I suddenly enlightened to the meaning of Master’s words, “Nothing in the entire cosmos is more horrifying.” According to my personal understanding, the whole cosmos has far more beings than these few human beings; it turned out that it was not only the human part of me that was afraid, but all the beings in my body, especially my divine side—my cultivated side—was afraid.
Later I told my dream to other practitioners. Every time I talked about it I was in extreme fear, and those fellow practitioners who listened to me were also in extreme fear. Everyone said it should be like the experience sharing article “One should rather cast off human skin than betray fellow practitioners,” published on Minghui.net on 03/07/2012: “In the last days of the Fa Rectification, Dafa disciples in mainland China who are detained should definitely avoid betraying fellow practitioners. Really [they should] ‘rather cast off human skin than betray fellow practitioners.’”
4. Seize the Day to Redeem Past Losses and Avoid Going to the Extinction of Body and Soul
Revered Master said in “Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Europe:” “Sometimes I say that even eighteen levels of Hell aren’t enough to match a person’s sin for damaging Dafa. I’ve just told you about something horrifying!”
Revered Master said in “Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York:” “If a person doesn’t cultivate well and affects another Dafa disciple or a lot of other Dafa disciples, and causes their cultivation to fail, that is the severe sin of interfering with Dafa disciples’ cultivation, one that cannot be absolved even after a being descends down to the eighteenth level of hell.”
Those “Dafa disciples” who have betrayed many fellow practitioners or have betrayed fellow practitioners many times, causing them to give up Dafa, be illegally detained, accept evil enlightenment after being “reformed,” or have caused truth clarification sites to be ransacked—just think about it, judged with Master’s Fa, how big of a crime have they committed?
Thus, I would like to ask those who have betrayed practitioners to seize the day to compensate for the losses they have caused Dafa. Put aside various human thoughts and fears and seize the day to redeem past losses and don’t head towards the extinction of body and soul.
Summary
Revered Master has said in Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference:”
“But, on the other hand, I can’t have you Consummate and stay on in the future just because your work is special even when you’ve done things that damage Dafa, or when you’ve done disservice to Dafa and Dafa disciples. That’s how it works. Of course, there are still chances since the persecution hasn’t ended, but time is running out fast. What to do and how to make amends is up to you. Seize the day!"
According to Master’s Fa teaching, those “Dafa disciples” who have once betrayed other disciples, please pay attention to this issue and seize the day to redeem and compensate for past losses. Don’t be infatuated with ordinary people anymore.
These are my personal understandings. Please point out anything that is improper.
