An Instant Precious Beyond Measure

[PureInsight.org] The death of
tens of thousands of people - especially the school children - in the
recent Sichuan earthquake made me realize the urgency of saving
sentient beings. In order to let more people know that those who
understood the truth about Dafa and had quit the Chinese Communist
Party (CCP) all safely survived the disaster, I wrote the following on
paper money:

 

This has had a very good effect in my face-to-face truth clarification,
and I suggest more Mainland practitioners try this method.



Yesterday after sending righteous thoughts at noon, I carried my
one-year-old son and went with my husband to a shopping mall to buy
baby items. On our way to the mall, we clarified the truth to a taxi
driver. Because taxi drivers seemed to care the most about safety and
their job was very laborious, we approached him from this angle and
started chatting about the safety lucky charm hanging in his car. Then
we moved to the issue of "Quitting the CCP" and how it was important
for his safety. Generally speaking, this achieves a very good effect
and almost all people are able to understand it.



When we got out of the taxi, a hunchbacked old man in his seventies or
eighties came over and begged me for money. At that moment I had only
one thought: Isn't he asking me to save him? Probably because my
husband has not been cultivating diligently lately, he tried to pull me
away, as if he was afraid that the man came to cheat us for money, but
I did not move.



I asked the old man, "Grandpa, where did you come from?" He answered
with great effort, "From Big Stone town. My wife is paralyzed at home
and we do not have money to pay for medical treatment for her!" I
promptly pulled out a one Yuan bill with the truth-clarification note
written on it and gave it to him and said, "Please read this good
news."



He did not understand what I said at first and told me that he believed
in God and someone gave him one hundred Yuan yesterday. I said, "I do
not have so much money, but this money can save your life!" He
understood what I said this time. To my surprise, he held the bill with
the truth-clarification note with both of his hands shaking and told me
emotionally, "I will not spend this money!"



I immediately understood that he meant to say the truth was precious to
him. So I said, "Please follow me to read 'Falun Dafa is good'." He did
not read it correctly the first time. I taught him to read it word by
word. I told him, "After you get home, please ask your wife to read
this and she will get well."



Then an unexpected miracle happened. The old man read loudly over and
over again "Falun Dafa is good" while bowing to me. This attracted the
attention of many passersby... it was a very moving moment!



The old man probably did not realize that he was validating the
greatness of Dafa to the crowd on the street. I remembered Master said
in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago":
"This instant is precious beyond measure." I told the old man, "If you
say it, the Buddha will take care of you!" He was very grateful and
kept watching me for a very long time as I walked away.



After this incident I recalled what Master had said in "Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital": "From Master's perspective, I know that these people should be saved and are worthy of being saved."



Master also said: "If someone dares to say 'Falun Dafa is good' during
this period of time when the persecution is happening - just based on
that one heartfelt statement, and without doing anything else - this
person will definitely return to his original place! (Applause) Why is
that? During this period of time and amidst an evil environment, he
still dares to validate the Fa, so he will definitely become a divine
being" ("Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference").



This
incident made me realize the greatness of the mission that
practitioners have during the Fa rectification period and how much I
had fallen short. Let me quote Master's poem "One With the Fa" from 
Hong Yin for our
practitioners mutual encouragement to cultivate ourselves well and save
more sentient beings:



One With the Fa



Broadly shines a Buddha's light,

Justly setting all things right.

Advance together, ever diligent,

To a glorious future.
