Responsibility

In his “Lecture at the Western US Experience Sharing Conference,” Master said, “I can tell you that throughout history there's never been any human being who has succeeded in cultivation--regardless of the cultivation way. This is because a person's Assistant Primordial Spirit doesn't enter the Three Realms, but controls the person's body at a microscopic level beyond the Three Realms.” Master also said in Zhuan Falun, that “The human Main Spirit is most difficult to save, while the Assistant Spirit can see scenes in other dimensions. They therefore think: ‘Why should I save your Main Spirit? Your Assistant Spirit is also you. Isn’t it the same if I save it? It’s all you, so whoever obtains it will be the same as you obtain it.’” Throughout history, saving the Assistant Spirit is the way of saving people adopted by all cultivation ways. In Zhuan Falun, we find, “Once a person wants to practice cultivation, his or her Buddha-nature is considered to have come forth. Such a thought is most precious, for this person wants to return to his or her original, true self and transcend the ordinary human level.” Such a precious thought is sent forth by the human Main (Primordial) Spirit. However, pathetically, in the past, the human beings’ Main Spirits that sent forth this thought could not be saved. Isn’t this being extremely irresponsible to these beings? Isn’t this deviated and degenerate? Such deviation and degeneration come precisely from the arrangements made by the evil old forces, the deviated divine beings. Today, Dafa is being spread far and wide. We cultivate our Main Spirits. “Whoever practices cultivation will attain gong” (Zhuan Falun). Therefore, in the cultivation of Fa-rectification, we should keep our Main Spirits clear-headed all the time. In the human world, we clarify the truth to the beings’ Main Spirits. By this we are being responsible to all the beings that are being saved and we are eradicating the arrangements made by the evil old forces. After I awakened to this Fa principle, I gained a new understanding of Master’s first words in Lecture One in Zhuan Falun: “Throughout the entire course of my lectures on the Fa and cultivation practice, I have been responsible to society and practitioners. The results we have received have been good, and their impact upon the entire society has also been quite good. ” And based on this principle, I further came to realize the infinite grace of the Lord of Buddhas.
