elementary school teacher. I contracted nasopharyngeal cancer after
being afflicted by an incident that occurred in my family. The doctor
told me that surgery is not applicable to this disease and I could only
depend on radioactive and chemical treatments to sustain my life. To be
more exact, I could die at any time. When I felt most fragile and
helpless, I started Dafa cultivation and that has since changed my life
journey.
On September 6, 2005, several major hospitals in Changchun city
confirmed that I had contracted cancer of the nasopharynx. Although I
was hospitalized, my health worsened day by day. After losing 18.5
kilograms from an original weight of 55 kilograms I was very skinny. I
had ulceration and purulence in my mouth, so I could not eat properly.
My vocal cords and hearing were damaged too. I was so weak that I could
not even put on my clothes. I had to stop the chemotherapy and leave
the hospital in which I had suffered from the medical apparatus for 81
days. I don't think a healthy person can ever imagine the extent of my
suffering during that period. I can't use words to describe my
attachment to my family and my fear of death.
On March 5, 2007, Ms Li, who is a Dafa practitioner, visited me at my
home. She offered me the opportunity to learn Falun gong and said that
only Master Li could save my life. She informed me of Dafa's rationale,
its magic power and Master's generosity. I was impressed but I did not
believe in the magic power of Falun Dafa. What she told me was merely a
beautiful legend to me.
Owing to my respect for Ms. Li, who is my friend, I accepted her suggestion. I read Zhuan Falun
and learned the five exercises. Every day I studied Dafa and practiced
the exercises but only half-heartedly, only to distract myself from the
painful disease. During that time Ms. Li kept explaining the truth
about Dafa cultivation to me.
To my surprise a miracle occurred as a result. On the night of May 9,
2007, while I was deep in sleep, I had a dream that a tumor the size of
the upper half of a thumb slowly fell down alongside the inside of my
face skin through the left part of my nose. Everything I saw was clear
and real.
When I got up on the morning of the 10th, I found that my
left neck was swollen. I was frightened, wondering whether the focus of
the disease had relocated. Then on the 12th, the tumor
disappeared and my face started to look healthy. My nose was no longer
clogged and I became articulate. More magically, my loud snoring
stopped and I resumed the sleeping habits I had before I was sick. My
body has since gained more energy and strength. I have gained weight,
too. I recovered and regained the ability to go to work.
Ms. Li told me that the Master had eliminated the tumor in my body. I
did not expect this, but I had to admit the magic power of Dafa in the
face of the facts. I sincerely appreciate Dafa and feel indebted to
Master Li for the benevolence he conferred on me, who was not a
whole-hearted practitioner of Dafa then. I will cherish the opportunity
and cultivate Dafa as a solid practitioner.
Apart from the pleasure and gratitude I have had, I know that promoting
Dafa and saving lives are the holy mission of Dafa disciples, including
me. The fact is that Dafa has helped me regain a healthy body from an
incurable disease.
With gratitude in my heart, I will share my own experience with the
public and tell everybody that Dafa is great and Zhen-Shan-Ren is
great. I encourage all the people who have lost their way to
embark on the Dafa boat and make efforts to get rid of the evil
spirits. Please say goodbye to the red monster, cherish and build a new
life!
