[PureInsight.org] I am an ordinary person, just like millions of other people in China.
If I have to choose one thing that I am proud of, it is that I am a Dafa disciple. That is the only honor in my life.
I have never attended any of Master's classes. I just read the book,
listened to the video tapes and became a Falun Gong practitioner as
many other practitioners did. I have had various cultivation
experiences and realized that cultivation in Dafa is so marvelous that
it is beyond description.
I recall that the years 1994-1999, before the persecution
started, were the happiest time in my life. Not only did I become a
practitioner but also my mother, relatives, neighbors, classmates, and
friends. We were immersed in the boundless benevolence and our ordinary
lives were filled with joy.
There was news about the persecution before the actual date July 20,
1999. However, we cultivators were not too concerned about news
like that. When something was mentioned on the television,
practitioners who experienced the Cultural Revolution sensed that the
Communist Party was about to do something. We all still insisted on
studying the Fa , exercisin together, and spreading the Fa in the
public.
Now that I think about it, Master repeatedly emphasized the importance
of studying the Fa in 1999. Nonetheless, we did not truly appreciate
Master's good intention and understood his words only superficially.
Evil took advantage of our kindness and started the persecution. On the
starting day of the persecution, many practitioners went to the
government to clarify the truth. My mother and I went to the provincial
government early that morning, but the majority of the practitioners
were told to go to the provincial stadium where police were guarding
the entrance. Practitioners were allowed to go in but not allowed
to come out. If they went to restroom outside, they were not allowed to
go back in again. Many practitioners stayed outside of the stadium.
Practitioners inside the stadium were later taken to a elementary
school to register and forced to watch the evening news on TV.
Suddenly, things turned bad from one day to the next. Looking
back, the evil party has executed its long-planned scheme very
carefully.
Once the persecution started, no one could hear the voices of
practitioners and all the websites were blocked. All media in China
stated one opinion. Some practitioners began to waver and some even
gave up their belief. Actually every practitioner had experienced the
miracle of Dafa to some degree. Only because some practitioners did not
study the Fa well, they became victims of the propaganda which eroded
their righteous thoughts and also disintegrated their understandings of
truth and compassion. When many people in China did not see or
hear the persecution, it was very difficult for them to know the truth
of persecution that was happening every day. Fortunately, Dafa
practitioners clarify the truth and expose the evil deeds.
I know that, all along, Dafa practitioners have been clarifying the
truth in various kinds of environments. The persecution of this
spiritual group is the most foolish one in the history of mankind. I am
talking about a group that has members from all walks of life and has
contributed a lot to the stability of the entire nation. The members of
that group are good people, the elite of various age groups, and the
backbone of society.
The outcome of the persecution is obvious. I recall that, at the
beginning, practitioners clarified the truth with a kind heart and
without resentment. Now the evil beings are getting further away and
their chances of being saved are getting fewer and fewer.
The majority of our local practitioners did not attend any of the
teaching classes in the past. We became practitioners by word of
mouth. We became practitioners because of Master's noble
character. We have come together to cultivate. Currently, I do not know
too many names, even though I am familiar with their faces. In the past
several years, many of us were arrested, some homes were ransacked, and
some were persecuted to death. Many younger practitioners had
their jobs, studies, and marriages ruined. However, they are all very
strong and brave. The more severe the persecution, the stronger our
beliefs are.
From the surface, the media in China does not carry too many pieces of
sensational news and if we look at it closely, something is quite
strange. For instance, there were some articles about Dafa, but
they do not speak clearly about us, the spreading of Dafa, destroying
the righteous thoughts, organ harvesting, Chinese classical dance, or
anything else.
I want to talk about something really simple that happened in the year
1998. We were spreading Dafa in Har City. The minute we walked
into the village, we noticed that many children were in the middle of
an open field. We also saw that there were two suns on the edges
of the sky, but we thought that was quite natural. Now I think that was
miraculous. All those children in the open field had predestined
relationships with Dafa and they were waiting for the Fa on that
particular day. We brought many copies of Zhuan Falun, so everyone got one.
Darkness will be destroyed by the everlasting light. After I walked
through the darkest period, I am grateful to Master's compassion and
salvation of me and other Dafa practitioners.
Let's walk the final leg of our journey, accomplish our historic mission, and reunite with our Master soon.
