Master said in “Lecture at the Great Lakes Conference in North America”: “After this year I find that you've completely changed. You no longer think as you used to. No matter what you do for Dafa and no matter what it is you're doing, you are placing yourselves in Dafa and not thinking about ‘I want to do something for Dafa’ or ‘I want to improve myself in this way or that way’ as you did before. No matter what you do, you aren't thinking that you're doing something for Dafa, about how you should do things for Dafa, or ‘how can I do things well for this Fa.’ Instead, you are placing yourselves within Dafa. Like a particle of Dafa, [you feel that] no matter what it is, you should just do it.”
I found that I was too impatient when doing Dafa work. When I claimed that this was for the improvement of fellow practitioners, I sensed wariness from them. When my good intentions were not recognized, I searched for my omissions. Was it because I lecture to people when I talk to them? Did I have compassion when pointing out others’ problems? Did I have show-off mentality? Did I feel I was better than others? Or did I grab hold of work for Dafa and want to be in charge? Have I been working as a Dafa disciple? I really looked into myself, warning myself to abandon all attachments, and to think of others with compassion and truly treat myself as a “Dafa particle”.
I have been enlightened to the fact that the point of view of a Dafa particle is based upon Dafa. He is a life dissolved in the Fa. Therefore, there is no hierarchy among practitioners, and no attachment of protecting individual interests. There is only giving for Dafa quietly, without pursuit of fame or interests. For we are one body. Our titles are “Dafa disciples”.
Above is my personal understanding. Please point out any inappropriateness.
