Whether or not one has enough righteous belief is a very crucial matter in one’s cultivation. This does not simply have philosophical import, but it also has physical meaning. I have realized that “faith” is the pathway, or linkage, that connects a being with other beings. Using the words of everyday people, trust is the bridge that enables people to communicate with one another. Similarly, firm belief in Dafa, which is the same thing as righteous belief, is the bridge and pathway that connects a being with the characteristics of the universe at different levels. Only on that pathway can a person assimilate to the characteristics of the universe and experience the magnificent power of Buddha Fa. From reading the experience sharing articles of fellow practitioners, I know that righteous belief is so powerful that it can repress evil.
