My name is L. and I am 18. My parents and I obtained the Fa in October
1997. It wasn't long before a Fa study group was set up in my home. We
were studying the Fa together with Dafa disciples living nearby. All of
us were diligent together in studying the Fa and cultivating.
After the persecution started in July 1999, I almost gave up
cultivation because I was too fond of playing, and especially crazy
about all kinds of computer games. As my parents refused to renounce
the cultivation, they became the focus of the Chinese Communist Party's
persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. In order to resist the
persecution, they had to give up their good jobs and decided to escape
from China. Early in 2002, my parents and I came to Russia where I
again tried to get back to the environment of Dafa cultivators.
Because of the CCP having extended the persecution overseas, incited by
the Chinese Embassy, Russian police who didn't know the facts about
Falun Gong used to arrest my parents and take them to the repatriation
centre in an attempt to deport them back to China. Time and again, we
clarified the truth of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong by using the
opportunity of lodging an appeal. Although the Russian government all
along refused our application for asylum with no reason but the force
of pressure from the CCP, with the strengthening from Master and
help from our fellow practitioners, we were finally rescued to Sweden
from Russia by the UN Organization of Human Rights in May last
year.
Since we came to Sweden, we have used the internet to clarify the truth
according to our circumstances, besides trying to attend Fa-
rectification activities held in some European countries and regions.
Now I would like to share a bit of my own experience with you.
Trying my best to clarify the truth without being confined by the language and environment
We are now living in a small city with beautiful surroundings where
there are almost no Chinese people. At the beginning, we couldn't wait
to move to big cities such as Stockholm and Gothenburg in order to
clarify the truth to more Chinese. Later we realized that wherever Dafa
disciples are, we should do everything well. So we set our heart at
rest and tried our best to do what Dafa disciples should do. We should
bring the goodness of Dafa to the people living in the small city and
fulfill our historical mission. My parents often do Falun Gong
exercises after class on the campus of a Swedish School, or near a
small bridge in the City Centre park. While they are doing the
exercises, the banner is always hung up and a small exhibition board is
put there, together with many Dafa truth clarification materials in all
languages, which can be seen by passers-by. The principal of my school
has often seen my parents practicing Falun Gong on the campus when he
goes and attends meetings at the adult school. The beautiful music of
Falun Gong and its peaceful movements have left a deep impression on
the people of the small city. They feel shocked when they come to know
that Falun Gong practitioners are now being persecuted in
China.
I also take every opportunity of clarifying the truth and to let more
people know about Dafa. On 1 December last year, a community exhibition
was held for a day. The head teacher invited many people to visit the
school.
Before the exhibition, the principal in charge of school affairs came
to our class hoping that the students from different countries would
each make a brief introduction of one's own homeland. I told her that
my family had come here because of the persecution of Falun Gong. At
that time, I had only learned Swedish for about three months and
couldn't explain more to her. So the next day, I gave the "Nine
Commentaries on the Communist Party" in Swedish to both my teacher and
the principal. They said: "We've understood, and you can exhibit what
you like."
When I got home, I consulted with my parents. We all thought: it was
indeed a good opportunity of clarifying the truth! It was the first
time for me to tell the facts about Falun Gong in front of so many
people. I felt sorry about my language because I couldn't explain
everything clearly in Swedish. Later, I thought: "That's all right. I
am sure that Master will help me with that."
On the eve of the exhibition, my parents and I had Dafa truth
clarification materials ready and made many beautiful lotus flowers out
of paper. Early next morning, I came to school where the principal and
teacher were pleased with my preparations. We put some lotus flowers on
the tables, which immediately made the whole hall looked very beautiful.
On that day, our school invited many guests. The principal, who knew
the truth about Falun Gong, acted as a voluntary commentator. With a
smile, she led guests to me, handed over truth clarification materials,
lotus flowers to each guest and told them about my experience. A young
lady earnestly read the truth clarification materials on the spot
without initially accepting the lotus flower and after that, she asked
the principal many questions. While explaining, the principal did some
Falun Gong exercises movements. I felt very happy on seeing so many
people know and understand Dafa.
Doing what Dafa disciples should do, Master has given me boundless wisdom
In order to clarify the truth more efficiently with the internet, we
bought a very good computer. Enjoying playing computer games used to be
a great attachment of mine. My parents often reminded me of eliminating
this interference. By studying the Fa, I gradually realized that it was
my attachment that had prevented me from rectifying the Fa. I should do
what Dafa disciples should do. The time of Fa-rectification is limited
and I should set my mind on rectifying the Fa and saving sentient
beings.
At first, I only did the tasks recommended by fellow practitioners.
Later I found other internet tools that could complement each other. In
this way, two tools can run automatically through cooperating with each
other. They can upload the "Nine Commentaries" and Dafa truth
clarification materials around the clock without stopping. On seeing
that, many people downloaded the "Nine Commentaries" and Dafa truth
clarification materials every day, I felt very happy because they had
the opportunity of being saved. At the same time, I was also
considering finding some other ways of clarifying the truth using the
internet. Later on, I found that some people who have been poisoned by
the evil Party for a long time often raised many questions when my
parents manually sent truth clarification information and the "Nine
Commentaries" to friends on the internet. I thought that the best way
of answering their questions was to have them obtain "Nine
Commentaries" which could liberate them from the lies told by the evil
Party.
In order to let Chinese people know about the "Nine Commentaries" and
truth clarification, I often share experiences with fellow
practitioners, which has helped me a lot. I have also tried to use the
internet as a way of broadcasting automatically like a radio station,
which can broadcast the "Nine Commentaries" to friends on the internet
as well as news from the Sound of Hope radio. By doing
this, I can work with my parents in clarifying the truth to friends on
the internet, sending the ‘Nine Commentaries" and using tools to
break through the internet blockade and helping people quit all
organizations of the Chinese Communist Party as well as helping them to
send their declarations of withdrawal . In order to make it convenient
for fellow practitioners to clarify the truth using the internet, I
have compiled my experience as a course of study and shared it with
them.
The "Nine Commentaries" are constantly cleaning up the contamination
which the Communist evil specter has used to poison the world people.
People are now awakening. Those who have listened to the "Nine
Commentaries" have felt that they are more courageous than before.
Usually, more than 30 people log onto the internet and listen to the
broadcast at weekends. Sometimes 2 or 3 people are listening to it at
the same time. A friend on the internet listened to the broadcast for
almost 7 hours at a stretch. Some listened to it four times within a
day and some others withdrew from all organizations of the CCP while
listening. A friend on the internet from Dalian city felt very sad
because a friend of his, a practitioner, had been arrested. He was very
excited when he found us on internet. He not only quit the Young
Pioneers organization but expressed that he wanted to learn Falun Gong
as well. I helped him log onto Clearwisdom Net, the Epoch Times, and he
read through the "Nine Commentaries" that same night. He also consulted
with us on how to persuade his family members to quit the Communist
Party.
Cultivation is serious: three things must be done well at the same time
Clarifying the truth via the internet is highly efficient, simple and
can cover large areas. I often offer some technical support to
our fellow practitioners nearby, in Finland and Norway using
long-distance teaching methods. As I had a strong work ethic, I
neglected studying the Fa, doing the exercises and sending righteous
thoughts, only taking clarifying the truth as the most important thing.
I was not enlightened though Master pointed it out many times. I
couldn't accept even my parents' advice me, which made me feel unwell
for some time, even so, I wasn't enlightened. Later my internet work
was interfered with as well. Only by studying the Fa with my heart for
a period of time did I realize the seriousness of cultivation. The more
important the task I do, the more closely the evil stares at me. The
three things must be done well at the same time or it will be easy for
the evil to exploit a loophole.
During a short period of time, I have realized: Three things must done
well at the same time, studying the Fa is the most important. Only by
studying the Fa continually are we clear about what we are doing now.
When you really want to a something well, Master will give us wisdom.
For example, although I had never learned how to use a computer, I am
now very good at using it to clarify the truth, which I couldn't have
imagined, and I used to be a child who was just fond of playing
computer games.
I also found that, using the internet radio auto-broadcasting function
combined with flexible manual approaches to clarify the facts did not
affect other automatic truth-telling programs, but increased the
efficiency of the other programs instead. From this we can see that
these truth-telling tools strive to play their respective roles during
the Fa-rectification period. We really need to make good use of them.
