[PureInsight.org] Every
practitioner faces tests of whether he truly believes in Master and the
Fa from the day when he first starts his cultivation. The tests can
range from minor sickness karma to a life and death situation.
They come all the time.
Some practitioners start to question their belief in Master and the Fa
when they cannot seem to overcome their sickness karma. Some
start having questions, "Why hasn't Master protected Dafa
Disciples?" If our belief in Master and the Fa is based on our
pursuits of other things, our faith will not be firm. At a
certain level, believing that Master should protect disciples is not
wrong. At a higher level, Dafa disciples should have capabilities to
protect themselves. This is righteous thoughts.
Facing the evil pressure, we have to choose between safeguarding the
truth and asking for Master's protection. If we can firmly
believe in Master and the Fa, does evil still dare to persecute us?
Master said in "Also in a Few Words" in "Essentials for Further
Advancement II", "Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos's Truth
forms benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it
frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the
unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate."
