Recently, in order to clarify the truth to Chinese more deeply, I attended some activities organized by the Chinese community. In the discussions about all kinds of topics, I probed into many questions in life with other people using new and righteous understandings acquired in Dafa. The effect of this kind of telling truth was very good. Amongst these activities, there was an essay contest on volunteer work jointly organized by a Chinese community and the local branch of the World Daily Newspaper. I felt this was also a good opportunity to clarify the truth. Therefore, I contributed an article titled "The World Needs Volunteers". In it, I mentioned Dafa disciples' selfless dedication to the whole society and that they are the most selfless volunteers in the world. In the end, my article won the first prize and the community presented me with a trophy at the Christmas party.
Due to a lack of understanding of the new requirements of disciples in conjunction with the progress of Fa-rectification, I did not relate this matter to Fa-rectification at all. I only considered it my personal thing and thought that since many people had read this article, it could be counted as telling them the truth. I did not care whether I got the trophy or not, so I accepted the trophy quietly. Later on, when I talked to other practitioners about it, they asked me why I did not ask the practitioner in charge of photography to go there and videotape this ceremony, which could be used for clarifying the truth further. And they also said I was not considering things from the point of Fa. I felt a shock wave going through me, and then I dwelled on it and found that indeed I did not really have a thorough understanding of the progress of Fa-rectification. Master Li said in the article "Dafa is Indestructible," "Why are Dafa disciples ruthlessly tortured by the evil? It's because they persist in their righteous faith in Dafa, and because they are particles of Dafa." Thus we can conclude that everything we bear during the Fa-rectification course is because we are particles of Dafa. Master Li said in the article "Foretelling the Fa's Rectification of the Human World," "Every single sentient being reveres Dafa's saving grace. All of the heavens and the earth celebrate together, rejoice together, and exalt together." So, during the ensuing period of "Dafa's most glorious period in the human world begins at this moment" (ibid), how can the admiration and recognition which Dafa disciples have received from human beings be considered solely as a personal matters? Everything we have is created by the Fa. Isn't it that all honors we obtain are because we are Fa-particles?
It is only when we really have no self in our hearts but only the Fa, can we welcome that magnificent moment of the Fa manifesting in the human world with such great splendor of vision and a calm mind.
