One night, not long after Master’s latest article 'Foretelling the Fa’s Rectification of the Human World' was published, I had a dream.
In the dream, my fellow practitioners and I were watching on TV a special about Falun Dafa. After the special the news continued with the weather forecast. The broadcast forecast a “big” flood, indicating that the country’s topography would be changed. The big flood would submerge many cities with the exception of those areas where hongfa (spreading the word about Dafa) had been done very well. The flood would drown all those who deviated from the Fa, those who do not know about Dafa and those who do not believe in the Fa. It saddened me to hear the news and I tried to think of ways how to spread Dafa more effectively to those beings affected by the flood.
The reporter said that practitioners need not be concerned about the flood since a Fa Ship would arrive and take all practitioners up to their original places of birth. Some practitioners began to make preparations, as this Fa Ship would bring them towards consummation. After the news, practitioners went to hongfa and arranged to be back during the sports announcement when reporters would announce the arrival time of the Fa Ship.
All practitioners had arrived at the appointed time, but the Fa Ship did not come. Everyone one waited past the appointed time, yet the Fa Ship did not come. We believed that the reporter must have been mistaken with respect to the arrival time. But I thought, “Why did the Fa Ship not come.” I realized that I was not saddened that the Fa Ship had not come, as I knew that there were many people who had not heard about Dafa. I understood that this delay of the Fa Ship’s coming would allow for more time to spread Dafa and save those who would have been lost in the flood. I decided that I had to stay in this world and continue with my hongfa activities. I was certain that I would know the arrival time of the Fa Ship and would not miss it. I awoke and went to practice at the practice site.
Thinking about what this dream is telling me, I found that it revealed my attachment to consummation. I realized that as a true Falun Gong practitioner I couldn’t leave the human world as I had not done well in my appointed task. We have to cultivate and spread the Fa daily to those who do not know about Dafa and to those who were mislead. There are many people worldwide who have not heard about Dafa and those they may have be predestined. We made a vow to help Master but we did not use all our abilities. How can we leave the human world? There are many more predestined people desperately searching for the orthodox Fa, the true cultivation way.
It became clear to me that practitioners’ desire to reach consummation is an attachment that has to be discarded. It does not matter when the Fa Ship arrives as long as we live every moment as Dafa particles, adhering to Zhen-Shan-Ren. I know that Master will arrange everything at the appointed time. It does not matter when we reach consummation, but cultivating our heart is of the greatest importance. As Master said, “When do you have the opportunity to have a human body?” Awaiting consummation is an attachment and human notion and has to be let go off by every Dafa particle.
The article is just my understanding that I would like to share with others. Please advise me if anything is incorrect.
