[PureInsight.org] On October 2, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners came to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. and displayed truth-clarification posters. The tourists that passed by the truth-clarification site and read the materials learned that Falun Gong is wonderful and were shocked by China's cruel persecution of Falun Gong.
A tourist said that he had not known the severity of the persecution and asked what he could do to stop the persecution. He said that he would tell his friends about it.
A student from the University of Maryland read the posters and said that she would tell her colleagues at the Amnesty International branch at school. She got some VCDs and material containing important facts about Falun Gong and the persecution against Falun Gong. She also wanted to invite Falun Gong practitioners to have forums at the University of Maryland.
A group of tourists from Beijing eagerly listened to Falun Gong practitioners clarifying the truth to them. Some of them had an enthusiastic discussion among themselves. Some of them said that they did not know about the persecution at all. Some of them could not help imitating it when they saw Falun Gong practitioners practicing Falun Gong's sitting meditation. Some secretly asked about the detailed truth about Falun Gong. Most of them accepted a copy of "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party."
