Greetings! This article is based on personal experiences that I have never written down until today, when I was inspired to do so. I intend to share them with fellow practitioners only. Please point out and correct anything inappropriate.
All of what I wrote about below comes from my dreams. Before, I was hesitant to write about these things because I didn't know if what I saw was Master's encouragement or things that were actually going to happen in the future.
1. Even though the environment started to grow a little more difficult after April 25, 1999, prior to July 20, 1999, we still had normal conditions for cultivation. Between April 25 and July 20, I felt that I studied and practiced diligently. I meditated for one and half hours every morning. My mind was very calm and in a good state. When my company asked me to give up practicing, I refused. I did not waver even a little when my father threatened cutting off our father-son relationship on account of practicing. I remembered Master's sentence in "Position": "A great cultivator, however, is able to let go of his ego and all of his ordinary human thinking in the midst of crucial tests." My heart was very firm.
The night before July 20, I was restless and went in and out of sleep. I suddenly saw that I was on a mountain along with many people, including policemen and criminals. In retrospect, the scene looked very much like a detention cell. At that moment, my parents came to me and said, "so-and-so, mom and dad miss you a lot!" I said to them, "you don't have to miss me." My mind was very peaceful. Suddenly there was explosive thundering. I looked up and saw very thick clouds. After three thunderclaps, the flat clouds that stood out in the middle turned rapidly. When the others ran into caves out of fear, I followed them. However, the sentence "With heavens clear and celestial bodies transparent, the cosmos are rectified" from "After Havoc" in Hongyin, (provisional translation) appeared in my mind and I ran out from the cave. I saw golden lights and a golden moon-like sphere shooting from the clouds. In one second, all the clouds disappeared. Then I did Heshi!
The scene suddenly switched to the playground at the school where I am a teacher. I said very happily, "the Fa-rectification has reached the human world!" I started to meditate. Then I walked from my school to my home. The air, objects and everything looked so clean and clear. I saw red lights all over the sky; the whole scene was splendid. I looked up and saw a mighty Buddha emerge in the sky and smile to me. I can't use human language to describe how beautiful, grand, magnificent and sacred the Buddha was. I also saw mountains and rivers in the sky… When I saw this, I said to myself, "I will practice diligently no matter what the environment, including in the midst of this test." I woke up at this moment and heard Master's message: "You must reach Consummation!"
Several days later, the July 20 incident occurred.
Now, looking back, I see it was really true. If we don't cultivate diligently in the current environment, we will be very, very sad when the Fa-rectification reaches the human world. In my view, we should act now so that we don't have regrets in the future!
2. Since I was the Falun Dafa "contact person" in my township, my school asked me to stay at home in order to monitor me more closely. Around October 1, 1999, I had the following vivid dream: I was walking to my school through a rural village and when I arrived at school, the radio in the whole township broadcast the "eight characteristics of Falun Dafa." Fellow practitioners were sharing their experiences. Then I heard the voice of the anchor: "Let's applaud again to welcome Master Li Hongzhi!" I still remember this sentence even now.
It turned out I was transferred to a rural village to work for two years because of regulations. I returned to my school after the two years.
Sometimes I regard these dreams as encouragement from Master. Sometimes I think that they might be windows into the future. I wrote them down today to share with fellow practitioners. Please point out and correct anything inappropriate.
