Don't Wait

I realized that much of the Fa-rectification work I have done has actually been under the influence of the distorted notion of "waiting." In "To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference" Master said, "…in clarifying the truth, don't wait…" Many practitioners, including myself, were encouraged to be more active in clarifying the truth and not just sit back and wait for things to come our way.

Recently though, I realized that the old forces have been able to affect the work I do in Fa-rectification because of waiting. This waiting cannot be understood as the waiting humans often refer to, but waiting in the sense that within the process of Fa-rectification and all the work I am doing for Fa-rectification, I am waiting for Master to fix all the problems and for the human realm to be rectified. This notion is a strong yet deeply hidden misunderstanding of Fa-rectification. In the "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A." Master said, "each student has to truly, clearly realize what his responsibility is, and when he sends forth righteous thoughts he has to be able to truly calm his mind and truly produce the effect of righteous thoughts. So this is something extremely critical, extremely important. Then if every student is able to do that, I can tell you, with five minutes of sending forth righteous thoughts together, the evil in the Three Realms will never exist again--that's how important this is."

If all practitioners are able to step out of the mindset of "while we are doing Fa-rectification work we are just waiting for Master to fix all our problems," and truly come to understand that we must take it upon ourselves to eliminate the evil, and completely destroy this notion of "waiting," then perhaps in just five minutes unimaginable changes will take place.
