[PureInsight.org] Miracles of Falun Dafa are seen everywhere all the time, ranging from the improvement of someone’s moral level or the rapid full recovery of a severely ill person, to someone escaping injury during a car accident. Some of the miracles are for the encouragement of disciples, some are for the protection of practitioners, and some are physical adjustments to practitioners’ bodies. All of these are performed by Master.
Many practitioners have experienced or witnessed such miracles in person. However, some people still do not believe these miracles and have even found excuses to attribute them to coincidence or psychological effects. Below are some unambiguous examples that will help convince these people.
Reversing a clock
This story happened when Falun Dafa was first introduced in our local area and many practitioners witnessed it. Once when some practitioners were practicing group meditation, one of them looked at the clock and wondered if the hands could reverse their rotation. Surprisingly, the hands of the clock then started to run counterclockwise. After a while, this practitioner wanted the clock to return to normal and the hands immediately began to run clockwise again. The practitioner shared this story with other practitioners and while they were watching, he repeated the miracle.
Lights automatically plugged in
This story happened during a local large-scale group Fa-study and exercise gathering in April 1997. Many practitioners from out of town attended, and they lived in some tandem, unfinished apartments. An electrical wire was temporarily set up for lighting. Without a switch, in order to turn on the lights, each time the power plug had to be inserted into the outlet manually. It was usually dark when the group exercise ended and thus hard to connect the power in the dark upon returning. The coordinator was always the first to arrive back at the apartments to connect the electricity for everyone.
For several days, on the way back, the coordinator wondered if the electricity could be connected automatically. With that thought, the lights in those several rooms turned on simultaneously. He was shocked and hurried to the rooms. Nobody was there but the electricity plug had been inserted into the outlet. This miracle then repeated for several days.
A gas range turned off by itself
Here is an experience of a fellow practitioner who lives in the countryside, during which he was protected by Master in a dangerous situation. One day, after this practitioner turned on the gas range to cook, a friend came asking him to work on something. Without a second thought, he left with his friend and forgot about the cooking. After an hour, it suddenly came to his mind that the gas range was still on. He was very worried and hurried home. It had already been about an hour and a half when he arrived back home. Surprisingly, everything seemed normal: there was no gas smell, no flame, and no scorched cooking pot. However, the gas range was still on. As soon as he went to turn off the switch, the gas suddenly lit up automatically. He immediately understood that it was Master who helped control the gas and prevented a disaster.
The opening of Celestial Eye
Finally, I also would like to share a miracle that happened to me. It may not seem very special when looking back, since it was the opening of my Celestial Eye, but at that time, I was very excited. When reading Zhuan Falun for the first time, I always felt that my forehead was stiff, and this happened only when reading the book. I didn’t understand why and didn’t link it to reading the book. When reading Lecture 2 of Zhuan Falun, I immediately understood what happened. Another miraculous incident occurred several months after I started to do the exercises. One night when doing the sitting meditation in bed (back then I could not cross my legs in double-lotus position yet), a circle made up of shining flames suddenly appeared in front of me. It was like the sparks coming from iron being grinded on a grinding wheel. I was shocked and opened my eyes. The circle of flames still existed and appeared very bright at night. I was very excited and thought: “the Celestial Eye mentioned in the book does exist.” With excitement, I watched the circle rotating for 4 or 5 seconds before it disappeared.
