Walk the Cultivation Path Well

[PureInsight.org] Having questions, I recently visited a practitioner couple to seek advice. Once I got there, I asked the wife if her husband was at home. She said he would return soon. I waited and began a conversation with her husband upon his return. I neglected to include the wife and their child—close in age to my child—to join the conversation, but this talk and our discussion answered some of the questions I had. Nevertheless, I felt somewhat uneasy, although I was unable to tell exactly what had gone wrong. Once I returned home, I realized my incorrect way of communicating with other practitioners.

Speaking with other practitioners is fine, but it is not appropriate [as a female] if I only want to talk with male practitioners. Even when discussing cultivation issues, as far as I am concerned, we should conform to common society's principles regarding courtesy and not intentionally exclude others.

Master said in “Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference,” “The boy and girl students in the performing arts troupe normally aren't allowed to just casually intermingle. Also, because they are so young, they are strictly forbidden from dating. Other Dafa disciples need to pay attention to these same issues.”

There is no question I belong to the category, “Other Dafa disciples,” mentioned above. As a practitioner, I should discipline myself according to the Fa requirements and not judge things based on a degenerated moral level. I will do well in the future and walk the cultivation path righteously.
