[PureInsight.org] My husband and I recently moved to a small city. Previously, we had lived in a large city where we had many friends and there were quite a few practitioners, making it much easier to find jobs and support ourselves.
We had been short of money, but we still decided to move to an unfamiliar, small city. Why did we do this? There are many Dafa practitioners in the large city and thus the environment there is good. For example, many of the everyday people I have approached to clarify the truth to have told me that they had already withdrawn from the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related organizations. I understand that there are still some everyday people who haven’t quit the CCP, but many practitioners there are trying to clarify the truth to those people.
However, there are a very few practitioners in the small city. Consequently, there is not much face-to-face truth clarification done here, although “Falun Dafa is Good” and “Withdrawing from the CCP” can be seen everywhere in the city.
This is the main reason why we moved to this city: To clarify the truth to everyday people face-to-face. Being practitioners during the period of Fa rectification, we must accomplish our mission.
We had to start our life over from the very beginning after we moved here. We had very little money so we had to drop to the lowest standard of living possible. Our meals consisted of a shared bowl of instant noodles with some vegetables. In the cold of winter, we couldn’t afford to buy coals to heat our home. Instead, we had to sit close together to keep warm.
We never felt these things were hardships. Whether we live in good conditions or poor conditions is not important to us. The most important thing is for us to treasure this precious opportunity. We understand that some hardship we might endure in this human world is good for our cultivation. We can improve ourselves by going through hardships and tribulations. But we will definitely reject any hardship that interferes with our cultivation—that would simply be the evil trying to persecute us.
We are going to set up a family business very soon. Having a family business will allow us to support ourselves and put us in contact with everyday people. We will follow Master’s instructions as to what we should do to save sentient beings.
