[Pureinsight.org] Some practitioners are disappointed or resentful because the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) “successfully” hosted the Olympics. Why are we disappointed? It is because some prophesy hasn’t been fulfilled; the CCP didn’t collapse; the persecution hasn’t ended; we ourselves are not free from this persecution; or our wish to reach consummation as quickly as possible has not been realized. Why are we resentful? It is because we think that it has been nine years since the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong, and it is time to end this brutal persecution, and the evil CCP should not be given the slightest opportunity to shine on the world stage.
Thinking this way includes all kinds of human attachments such as selfishness, competitiveness, and hatred. We are looking at this issue from our own perspective instead of that of Fa-rectification, which means we aren’t considering it from the point of view of Master’s plan. Our Master wishes more Dafa disciples will reach consummation and more sentient beings will be saved. I think this is the reason Master is still waiting and the time for ending the Fa-rectification is still being postponed.
It is not that Master does not have the capability to put an end to the persecution, but it is because he has compassion for sentient beings that he allows it to continue. We only consider our own suffering under this persecution. But what about those fellow practitioners who have not done the three things and those poisoned by the evil? If Fa-rectification ended today, they would be weeded out and face endless, unbearable suffering in hell. Compared with that, it is nothing for us to bear this tiny bit of temporary suffering. Also, time has been accelerated, and nine years will be like a moment when we look back in the future. We should think about our fellow practitioners first, not just our own wishes. Originally, they knew how dangerous this human world is, and also that they could not return to their paradise if they did not conduct themselves properly, but they still came to this secular world in order to save sentient beings and assist Master in Fa-rectification. They were so compassionate. Should we not save them? They are all victims in this test arranged by the evil old forces. How can we be worthy of the title “Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period” if we are without boundless compassion and mercy? We can harmonize what our Master wants if we can think about his perspective.
Master always thinks about and cares for all sentient beings, but have we ever thought about our Master? Some practitioners with their celestial eyes open saw Master’s hair has turned white and his body has a lot of bruises in other dimensions. What does this mean? It means our Master is concerned about us and is enduring for us. When we don’t do well and are persecuted by the evil, Master is very anxious. While being persecuted, we only sense our own suffering, but have we thought about what Master is bearing for us at that time? How much does our Master worry and endure for those millions of Dafa disciples that are being persecuted? How can our Master not be worried when hundreds of millions of sentient beings are being poisoned? What does this mean? Master tries his best to let his disciples reach consummation and save sentient beings, while he endures tremendous suffering physically and mentally.
For those practitioners who are attached to the end of Fa-rectification, do we realize that Master’s suffering is even more painful than ours? There is no reason for us to have fear, no reason for us to be attached to the fulfillment of prophesy, the changes in external situations, or to the timing for the end of the persecution. At every instant, we need to grasp the chance to save sentient beings and relinquish our attachments.
