[PureInsight.org] The Yucatan
Peninsula was the birthplace of the Mayan people and has many sites
with relics of the Mayan culture. The historical artifacts of the Maya
can still be seen in the dense jungle on the peninsula. Exquisite
engravings, vivid images of gods, sacrificial altars, dwellings, and
other arenas of the past can still be differentiated vaguely. There are
stone engraved with their ancient script.

In the vicinity of Coba Village in the peninsula's jungle, there is an
ancient Mayan city and a pyramid hidden on the high ground of the
peninsula, hidden in thick jungle. According to the local people, there
is a poisonous tree whose sap causes a painful reaction when people
come into contact with it. Mayan people used the sap to make arrows to
kill their enemies. It is fascinating that there is a tree growing next
to it and its dark red trunk can detoxify the poison. For every three
to five poisonous trees, there is a dark red tree next to them

This is a manifestation of mutual promotion and restraint in the
universe. In traditional Chinese culture, the connotation of yin and
yang and Taiji are manifestations of this. Furthermore, yin and yang
exist everywhere. For every object and thing there exists the
corresponding yin and yang and interaction.

In fact, this mutual promotion and restraint exists in everyday life.
For example, eating the flesh of durian fruit can cause internal body
heat. Excessive consumption of the fruit will cause nose bleeding. But
boiling its shell with light salt will turn down the heat. There are so
many things like this. The Creator creates myriads of things, but
humans only understand just a small portion of them.
