[PureInsight.org] After a
period of diligent cultivation, my pure mind disappeared suddenly.
Sickness karma and mental interference came, one after another. I
couldn't tolerate shortcomings of others and my mood became uneven.
Many of my bad aspects of noncultivators' habits reappeared. It seemed
like I fell into a filthy quagmire and couldn't get out of it. I tried
hard to let go of "self" and be considerate of others. But the bad
points of others kept pushing me with a formidable force that I
couldn't turn around.
I forced myself to memorize the Fa and reread Master's lectures.
I came to understand that everything we had encounter has a reason when
I was memorizing the section on "Demonic Interference in Cultivation"
in Zhuan Falun. "All have karmic relationships and are not without
reason. It will not be allowed to be so without a reason." Master has
pointed out in "Teaching the Fa at the Western US International Fa
Conference" the difficult circumstances during the Fa rectification
cultivation. This is what I need to understand at my current level.
Master has clearly explained different cultivation situations. As I
read on, I couldn't help shedding tears. How much Master considers us
and tolerates us. How could I still feel dejected while I am immersed
in such benevolence?
I couldn't help feeling sorry for those fellow practitioners who still
don't cultivate diligently. Their common trait is that they do not
emphasize Fa study. They treat Fa study as a formality. When they feel
they have read the lectures before and can't find any thing new, they
give up. They understand the Fa principles less and less and can't
perceive Master's instructions. It then becomes a vicious circle. Not
to mention that vicious interference can easily pull a cultivator down
From the surface, cultivation is very hard. But with Master's help, it becomes easy.
Master extends his compassionate hands to summon us and wait for us. We
as disciples need only extend our hands to him and we'll be able to
walk past the difficulties. The crux is whether we can think of Master
and return to studying the Fa.
