and more mature in our discipline of assisting Teacher in
Fa-rectification and, together, realizing the process of validating
Dafa and saving sentient beings. The closer to the end, the more
important it is to seize the moment to save people
1. Harmonize as One Body
We have sufficiently realized the importance of harmonizing as one body well in Fa-rectification.
a). Set Up Fa Study Groups
Group Fa study and practicing exercises is the cultivation path Teacher
gave us. Our Fa study group increased from three people in 2002 to
seven people now. Since 2004, our 3 villages have 23 people in 5
groups. We have basically been persistent and not waivered for three
years and thus built a foundation for doing the "three things" well as
a whole.
b). Create a Good Environment
We sufficiently use the objective circumstance of having one local
trade fair every three days. Many people come and congregate there.
Fellow practitioner A uses practitioner B's family room in the beauty
parlor to repair electronic goods. The back room is used for storage
but also connects to the big market. It has the geographical advantage
of linking the front and back. On every fair day, four of us work
separately. For three years, fellow practitioners in every group can
come here on their own initiative to exchange information about their
situations, transmit information, distribute material, and discuss
issues. If there are enough personnel, we may also find a short time to
exchange views, sometimes send forth righteous thoughts, or study on
our own. Many people pass by. Two of us work together finding the right
topics to clarify the truth and advising in favor of the three quits.
At the same time, we play truth-clarification disks on TV so as to
allow people to see the truth at any time. A small repair center
actually became a good place for us to validate the Fa.
c). Establish a Truth-Clarification Materials Production Site at Home
Along with the rapid development of Fa-rectification, the Minghui
editors suggested having material production sites everywhere. We
realized we could not "wait, rely on others, ask for" materials. After
discussion, help, and guidance from coordinating practitioners, we
established a materials production site at my home, which not only
alleviated the pressure on other materials production sites, but was
also convenient for us. Practitioner B, who is good at technology,
undertook the burden of making the materials. For over a year, we have
been uploading, downloading, printing, making materials, and performing
simple maintenance without incident, so our activities in validating
the Fa have been reliably guaranteed to have the necessary materials.
d). Let NTDTV Settle Down
Along with the establishment of a materials production site in my home,
installation of NTDTV and Minghui radio have brought us even greater
convenience in doing the three things well. A group of coordinating
practitioners and practitioner A's technical service are on call at any
time for installation and maintenance. Four households in our group
have completed all of the installation and very soon one household in
another team will also get it installed. This can basically guarantee
our morning practice together with other practitioners in China. We can
also receive Minghui broadcasts and the colorful television programs
from NTDTV at any time.
The practice of Fa-rectification activities proves that the process of
harmonizing one body is also a very good process of cultivation. For
three years, because we are able to look inwards, fellow practitioners
have cooperated with each other quite well, never having any
unhappiness, not to mention conflicts. When Dafa practitioners' hearts
can communicate and harmonize with each other and there is no gap, no
oneself, they coordinate well, manifesting the functions of every
particle in every project for saving sentient beings and form a joint
force that makes the harmonized one body manifest greater effects.
2. Cultivate Oneself Well
In validating the Fa, I pay attention to improving myself at all times.
a). Studying the Fa Well is the Guarantee
Our group has group Fa study every day. Besides sending forth righteous
thoughts at the set times and studying the Fa for two hours, we use the
remaining time to exchange views. In addition, I continue studying for
another hour after group study, and study two hours in the daytime,
studying a total of four to five hours each day. By truly achieving
what Teacher required us to do in "To the Australia Fa Conference:"
"Don't just go through the motions when you study the Fa. You should
study with a concentrated mind, and you must really be studying," we
are able to cultivate ourselves well and validate Dafa well.
b). Abandon Human Notions at Critical Moments
I usually thought my xinxing
had been cultivated quite well but, at a critical moment, I felt it had
not. In July 2007, fellow practitioners and I went to Jinan to rescue
practitioners. On the way back, in the waiting room of the train
station, Teacher used a fellow practitioner's mouth to say "Anyone who
has a pen, write ‘Extinguish the Chinese Communist Party! Resign from
the Party to save your life!' on the notice board." I looked at the
notice board, but there were no messages at all, only two notices. And
then I looked at the waiting room. It was so crowded and the staff
members were walking around. It was as if you would be seen as soon as
you wrote anything. My mind flashed "Aren't fellow practitioner
detained here?" "Fear" suddenly replaced the fervor I had in the
beginning. I did not make it! Between the thoughts of a human and those
of a god, without divine thought, then it is human thought that
prevails.
Obviously, to practitioners, one of the biggest human notions is
"fear," just like what Teacher says "Faced with tests, a person's true
character is revealed" (Hong Yin II).
Only by keeping Teacher's words firmly in mind at critical moments, not
forgetting that one is a practitioner, determined to assiduously temper
oneself, only then we can truly remove the fear. I deeply understood
that we can't relax on abandoning human notions at any time.
c). Look Inwards on All Aspects
Teacher repeatedly told us to "look inwards." I earnestly checked
myself and found I still have many human notions. Before setting up the
materials production site, I "waited, relied on others, and asked for"
materials. After it was established, I relied on practitioner B. When I
clarify the truth smoothly, the mentality of showing off and the
pursuit of comfort emerge. When my xinxing
can't catch up, I feel sleepy during Fa study and my hand gestures
change shape during sending forth righteous thoughts. When writing
experience sharing articles, I feel I am quite poisoned by the CCP
culture, and can't write them well. Along with improvement in my
understanding and xinxing,
after deep searching I realize there are many more such imperfections.
In practice I have come to realize that looking inwards is the master
key to opening all heart knots. Looking inwards enables one to let go
of oneself, harmonize one's body, dissolve conflicts, balance one's
mental state, get rid of all negative thoughts, and take the initiative
to look for fellow practitioners' good sides. Keeping Teacher's
teaching in mind all the time, we are able to cultivate ourselves well,
harmonize as one body, and save sentient beings well.
3. Seize the Moment to Save People
We must not let Teacher worry again. We must be concerned about what
Teacher is concerned about and grasp every opportunity to save people.
a). Comprehensively Clarify the Truth
Based on the previous foundation, we grasped time ever more tightly
this year. On every market day, practitioners take the market as the
center and go out separately to clarify the truth and distribute
material face to face. Out of five groups in our village, all of the
practitioners in three groups can distribute materials at night. Group
1 has four people. One of them is over 60 years old, began to practice
Falun Dafa three years ago, has high xinxing
and enlightenment quality and, with sufficient righteous thoughts, no
fear. Every time, he goes out on his own, with over 100 pieces of
material, over hill and dale. He often comes home at 2 to 3 a.m., his
trail having covered more than half of the townships of the entire
village. One female practitioner in group 2 is over 70 years old. She
could not walk far and had difficulty doing housework before she
practiced Dafa. Now she walks more than 10 miles, crossing mountains
and rivers, in one night. When she is tired, she sits down to send
forth righteous thoughts. She thinks, "I am a Dafa practitioner,
fearing no hardship," and she can smoothly complete her mission every
time. She explains the truth to whomever she meets at the market or in
the village. Once, she told the truth to an elderly lady from another
village. That person wanted to report her. She peacefully explained the
truth that saves people and made that elderly lady understand the
truth.
Our fellow practitioners overcome various difficulties while sincerely
saving people, which I feel is very touching. Because I firmly believe
in Teacher and Dafa, put "validate Dafa and save sentient beings" in
the first place at all times, I use all occasions in my daily life,
such as visiting relatives, shopping, traveling, and dinner parties, to
grab the opportunity to clarify the truth face to face, give people
material and urge them to do the three quits. In addition, we also make
phone calls, write letters to encourage good behavior, write truth on
money, hang banners and use loudspeakers and other ways to clarify the
truth and validate Dafa. We have observed obvious results.
b). Place Base Point Correctly in Saving People
We are firstly clear that "All that Dafa disciples do at present is for
the purpose of clarifying the truth and saving the world's people."
("To the France Fa Conference") (Official translation) One must
understand correctly that the relationship between Dafa practitioners
and everyday people is the relationship of saving and being saved. In
autumn, 2006, when I visited relatives, I met a former Secretary of
Politics and the Judiciary. At the beginning of the chat, I was a bit
restrained by being in the presence of one of the "old cadre" of the
CCP culture. Later, when I came to the relevant topic, he also admitted
that CCP would collapse sooner or later. By then I had told him, as a
Dafa practitioner, about the social reality and inevitable truth of
Heaven's extinguishing the CCP. We talked happily and, although he did
not quit from the Party due to time effect, he understood the truth.
This time I enlightened to the fact that, no matter who the person is,
as long as he is the object of our salvation, we shall save him in an
open and honorable way.
In the process of saving people, it is quite possible to meet people
who are muddle-headed, unwilling to accept or even oppose. We should
place our point of view correctly: save him with a sincere heart for
his goodness. Only then can we achieve the purpose of saving people. In
summer, 2006, I spoke to one of my old classmates from another village
about the three quits. He did not directly say he disagreed about
quitting, but tactfully said "the CCP also gives me my wages!" I
explained to him in detail and gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries,
but he said nothing. I also came across several other people with
similar attitudes, but they did not move me. Instead, those occasions
made me feel that they are worth saving. After one year, I went to his
home again. Before I started talking, he happily withdrew from the
Party, as did his spouse, son and daughter-in-law. This story proves
that, as long as our mindsets are correct, Teacher will help us.
c). Change Lessons into Power
The lesson in the waiting room of Jinan Station in July was on my mind
all time. Through studying "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the
World's People", "Pass the Deadly Test", "In Fa-Rectification Your
Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human" and others of Teacher's
lectures in regards to abandoning human attachments, I fully realized
that fear has to be abandoned. The lesson can not just turn into a
permanent regret, but must turned into power for going forward.
Previously, I had no concept of "I am a god" in my mind, as I only
thought I was a practitioner, or a practitioner on the path to godhood.
Without improved understanding, there is no improved action.
Early last month, on the vehicle from the county seat to my home town,
there were three groups of countrymen. My righteous thoughts were very
strong all the way and I explained the truth to them in detail
according to the sequence of their destinations. I spoke about the
beauty of Dafa and the corruption of the CCP. They listened carefully
and did the three quits with satisfaction. I told an elderly lady with
many diseases about the miracle of Dafa, asked her to often recite
"Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is
good," and helped her dead spouse quit the Party, told her grandson not
to join the Young Pioneers. Five other people quit the Communist Youth
League and the Young Pioneers. Three businessmen nearby often
auspiciously watched me talking continuously. Most of the people on the
vehicle understood the truth. This joy of "abundant harvest" let me
truly understand the real connotation of "Cultivation is up to you,
gong is up to the Master."
d). Do Not Forget Fellow Practitioners from Former Days
At the same time as saving sentient beings, I also firmly remember
Teacher's guidance about not wanting to miss even one disciple, not to
forget fellow practitioners from former days and people with
predestined relationships. In 2007, we sent materials to ten or so
people with predestined relationships, introduced Dafa and taught the
exercises many times. Although the cause was insufficient and they
missed the opportunity, it built foundation for them to practice in the
future. We can't give up on former practitioners who fell behind. After
many occurrences of persuasion, a practitioner who suffered persecution
many times recently returned and expressed determination to continue
practicing. Now our group has restored the vitality of former days.
An old colleague of mine in another village went everywhere to
introduce Dafa before July 20, 1999. After the CCP's suppression, fear
and suspicion made him and has spouse fall behind. From winter 2006 to
autumn 2007, I repeatedly traveled several dozens of miles to return to
visit him five times, explained the truth, analyzed situations,
introduced Teacher's new lectures, and sent him Dafa books, Teacher's
lectures on tape and the Nine Commentaries,
and truth-clarification materials. Not only did he quit from the Party,
his relatives also did the three quits and he returned to the practice.
For several years, during validating the Fa and saving sentient beings,
because I steadfastly believe in Teacher and Dafa, I put the "three
things" requested by Teacher throughout my heart, I took the initiative
to look inwards at times. I did what a Dafa practitioner should do in
cooperating with fellow practitioners and harmonizing as one body.
However, I am still not doing the things that save people sufficiently.
I don't spend enough time and my efficiency is not high. Based on the
requirements of Teacher and Dafa, I still have a big gap compared to
diligent practitioners. In the limited time for assisting Teacher in
Fa-rectification from now on, I must improve more assiduously, be
concerned about what Teacher is concerned about, clarify the truth
together with fellow practitioners, and save sentient beings well. We
will thereby realize our great prehistoric wishes and not disappoint
Teacher's great expectations.
