The sentence “Let me tell everyone” appears many times in Zhuan Falun, and it touches me deeply whenever I read it.
When I had just began the cultivation practice, I thought “who is this Master, and how can he be so amiable and modest?” He wants to let everyone know something as if he were taking care of children. Just listen carefully, what does he want to tell us?
I burst into tears when I read in Zhuan Falun Volume II, “I created and renewed everything”[unofficial translation]. Teacher has been letting us know things from very ancient times to the present. We have been under his observation for long, long time...
After I heard the first detailed information about a practitioner who was tortured to death, I couldn’t help crying in the classroom. I had only one thought: “Let me tell everyone, tell everyone...” I just wanted to stand on the street and tell every passerby the story. At the time, I didn’t yet know the words “clarify the truth”, and I just hoped more people would pay attention to such injustice.
Later I began to understand from bottom of my heart the numerous meanings and endless compassion in this sentence. There is a saying I read when I was a child: “suffering is divided in half when shared, truth is understood by two people when shared.” Why do I want to tell everyone? Because I know the truth and they don’t, yet. If I don’t tell them, then I would feel guilty in front of everyone.
It is indeed true that the “heart is saving people. ”
