As Dafa disciples eliminate the evil by sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth, the area that the evil can control is getting smaller and smaller. At the same time, it becomes more and more important for us to make the best use of time to clarify the truth to Chinese people, and for overseas practitioners to clarify the truth to the governments of all countries around the world. We shouldn’t ignore this. I would like to share the following two personal enlightenments with everybody. If anything is not appropriate, please extend compassion by pointing it out.
Clarifying the Truth to the Government Is Important
Master Li talked about the issue of “predestined relationship” in "Teaching the Fa in New York City" from Falun Buddha Law--Lectures in the United States. Master told us "These things will then cause them to reincarnate as a group in the next life."; "You’ll find that someone who walks down the street and doesn’t belong to your group, who doesn’t have a predestined relationship with you, or have anything to do with you, will seem to be in a totally different world from you." In “Touring North America to Teach the Fa” Master says, “Dynasty after dynasty, the people in each dynasty were a dynasty of people from the heavens. They are representatives from distant cosmic bodies, representing the countless sentient beings there and having come here to form a karmic relationship so that those sentient beings wouldn’t be left out during the Fa-rectification.” The groups that have predestined relationship with Dafa“…only returned to their places in recent times. People from one dynasty went one place, while people from another dynasty went to another place—that’s how it went.” These groups of people settled in different countries. Since people of these countries came to the human world from distant cosmic bodies and are waiting for the time when Dafa will be spread, then those who have been elected as leaders of these countries are not leaders by accident. Their fate is probably controlled by the “predestined relationship” established throughout history.
When the government officials elected by a country’s people make the decisions on behalf of the nation, the decisions are considered the choices of the people. Thus, how a government treats Dafa, and how a government views the persecution against Dafa, will represent not only the individual choice that will determine the future as made by a government official but also the choice for the future as made by the people and the nation. Since every life is a representative from a distant cosmic body, from "Touring North America to Teach the Fa," “representing the countless sentient beings there and having come here to form a relationship,” whether each can make a right choice for the future will be the essential thing. And it would never be a small incident for a nation to choose the right attitude toward Dafa, because the nation corresponds to the future of a large-scale cosmic body. So to clarify the truth to the government is very significant.
Clarifying the Truth to Governments in All Countries Breaks Through the Old Forces’ Arrangements
In “Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston,” Master Li said to us: “Of course, a lot of things aren’t as simple as everyday people think they are.” “I’ve said that the old forces have made very detailed, thorough, and systematic arrangements in history for the entire Fa-rectification period and everything that manifests during the Fa-rectification.”
Currently, the old forces in the universe are still using the excuse of a “test” to hold up the process of Fa rectification. They try their best to maintain and continue their evil tests. Overseas, one of the outstanding manifestations of the evil forces is the trick of so-called keeping balance. If the people and the parliament support Falun Gong, the old forces will make use of the evil factors to manage the people who don’t have strong righteous thoughts in order to keep the executive organ of the government from opposing the evil persecution initiated by Jiang’s regime. Sometimes the old forces even combine the evil elements to limit the righteous actions of Falun Gong practitioners via administrative orders. For example, when the head of the P.R.C. visited Iceland recently, although the people of Iceland widely supported Falun Gong practitioners and objected to the evil persecution, the old forces still arranged for Icelandic government officials to forbid Falun Gong practitioners from entering Iceland. The government was manipulated by the evil forces to do something that the evil forces in China were not able to do.
The reason why Master is rectifying the Fa, and the reason why Dafa disciples clarify the truth, is to save sentient beings. In “Touring North America to Teach the Fa,” Master Li pointed out: “The old forces have no regard for human life—if they want to kill, they’ll just kill. Amidst the Fa-rectification they’re only attached to their own arrangements.” The Iceland incident that happened recently perfectly demonstrates the fact that the old forces do not care at all about the future of an entire nation! In order to continue the evil persecution, they do not hesitate to sacrifice the future of more sentient beings.
We should not treat this evil arrangement as a persecution originated by everyday people. We should realize it from the perspective of the Fa that thoroughly clarifying the truth to the governments of all countries is an important step in breaking through the arrangements of the evil old forces.
Master Li told us many times: “I don’t acknowledge the old forces’ arrangements and I don’t acknowledge this persecution.”(From “Touring North America to Teach the Fa”) Being Dafa disciples, we should break through the arrangements of the old forces and save more people. Also, every person in this world comes for the Fa, so they all have their lucid side, and they all have their original, kind side. Therefore, they would be shocked to hear the truth about the evil persecution. As long as we can follow what Master said in his article “Rationality,” from Essentials for Further Advancement II, “Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy,” and as long as we can clarify the truth on all levels —especially clarify the truth to the governments of all countries—the arrangements of the old forces will be broken through.
Once all governments stand out to oppose the Jiang regime’s evil persecution of the Fa, the evil will not be able to last. So to solidly clarify the truth to governments is currently an important part of the whole process of Fa rectification. And there is no denying that it is also the duty of overseas Dafa disciples.
