Hello Master! Hello fellow practitioners!
I am a veteran practitioner who obtained Dafa in 1998. I am 58 years old now. The day before I obtained the Fa, I had a magical dream. Before getting up, I heard a clear sonorous voice, "Didn’t you schedule to practice together with some people? Why don’t you get up?" Without thinking too much, I immediately went to the local practice site. Now I realized it was merciful Master who called me to do exercise at the site.
Since then, I learned the five exercises and got the precious book, Zhuan Falun. After that, I became a formal Dafa disciple. Because I had only spent one year in school, I had almost forgot all the Chinese characters. However, with Master’s reinforcement, I can read all Dafa books magically.
Before I obtained the Fa, I suffered several diseases including cholecystitis and tracheitis. Master purified my body quickly after I carefully study the Fa. I felt my body was lighter than ever after four days of karma elimination in bed and all kinds of diseases were gone. I truly appreciate the thorough purification from Master in making me disease-free. Although I am nearly sixty years old now, I am more like 40 years old. They are all because of Master’s compassionate care.
Steadfast Cultivation - Overcome Family Attachment
Not only had I benefited from Dafa physically and mentally, my husband and my son also benefited a lot. My fourteen year old son was very supportive to my Dafa study and helping me distribute truth clarification materials as well as holding banners to save people many times.
My son respects his parents, never contradicts elders or makes me worry. In 2013, one of his friends borrowed 200 thousand Yuan from us to invest in a factory with my son as guarantor. We gave it to him without thinking too much. Later, creditors came after us. My son realized that his friend had disappeared without any sight of the factory. He was scared and left home without leaving any notification. I haven’t seen my son since then.
I still remember I was unable to sleep for over a year because he hadn’t answered my phone calls or respond to my text messages. I felt very uncomfortable and worried a lot. Most of the time, even while doing housework, I couldn’t help crying because I really wanted to know where and how he was! I lost appetite, plus my daughter-in-law hated me. I was at the edge of breaking down. My sensible young grandson always comforted me. I can still remember him telling me seriously, “Grandma will never be old because you are Dafa practitioner. You will go back to your own world when you finished and I can follow you there. Grandma’s world is so pretty and has everything in it!” I was so shocked on hearing these words coming from an eight year old kid. It is clear our merciful Master hinted me to give up family attachment and return home with Master through more diligent cultivation. I thanked Master’s timely hint to make me aware of it!
However, it’s not that easy to relinquish. I was stuck and couldn’t help myself. But I told myself to completely trust Master and the Fa by leaving it alone. Master had made all arrangement and what I need to do is only to relinquish. Since then, I learnt a lot about the Fa every day for almost one month. No matter how I missed my son or cried for him, I still kept my Fa study. To overcome family attachment, I posted Master’s Cultivators’ Avoidances in Essentials for Further Advancement on the wall: “Those who are attached to their reputations practice an evil way, full of intention. Once they gain renown in this world, they are bound to say good but mean evil, thereby misleading the public and undermining the Fa.
Those who are attached to money seek wealth and feign their cultivation. Undermining the practice and the Fa, they waste their lifetimes instead of cultivating Buddhahood.
Those who are attached to lust are no different from wicked people. While reciting the scriptures, they even cast furtive glances; they are far from the Dao and are wicked, everyday people.
Those who are attached to affection for family will definitely be burned, entangled, and tormented by it. Pulled by the threads of affection and plagued by them throughout their lives, they will find it too late to regret at the end of their lives."
Sometimes I repeatedly read and recited “Essentials for Further Advancement” to remind myself about relinquishing attachment when I couldn’t help missing him. Master also continued to encourage me to memorize each paragraph of the Fa. One month later, I gradually calm down and after six months, I completely got rid of it. Unexpectedly, another Xinxing tribulation came. One day, my daughter-in-law suddenly came to tell me that she wanted to divorce my son. I was not impacted compared to last time. As I know, based on Fa principle, predestined relationship can’t be controlled by people. I told her with sincerity, “It’s up to you and I know it’s not your fault. I will still regard you as my own child.” Then she left and I accepted it calmly.
My Xinxing was improving by overcoming family attachment. One day I suddenly received a text message from my son. In the message, he said he was pretty good now. His boss told him a lot of Dafa practice stories because his boss is also a Dafa practitioner. He didn’t smoke or drink and would meet me again when he became better.
It is really “Pursue Nothing and Gain Naturally". I received my son’s information when I really let go. I truly feel Master gave us the best arrangement as long as we regard ourselves as genuine Dafa practitioners all the time.
I sincerely appreciate Master. It’s benevolent Master who arranges my son to work at Dafa disciple’s company. What an encouragement! Even better, my son has a good future with his life and career.
I persevere to save people under Master’s Reinforcement
Over ten years’ cultivation passed quickly. Neither the evil’s mad persecution in 1999 nor the family attachment of my son can slow me down in clarifying the truth to save people.
Because I truly believe the Fa-Rectification disciples should go out to save beings and be with the Fa. We should follow the Fa to be a qualified Dafa disciple. Because I am very simple without too many human notions, I never thought about how to establish the mighty virtue or worried about consummation. Master knows me and protects me. He helped me to break through the tribulations over and over again.
One evening, I distributed the truth clarifying materials with practitioner A at a suburb. A guy, who seemed to have drunk too much, came out from the yard when we almost finished seven to eight hundred copies of the truth materials. He pointed to the truth material under the door and asked, “Is it from you? I need to check your bag!” Practitioner A said, “Brother, for your sake, we came out to distribute the truth material. Falun Dafa is saving people. You will be blessed if you believe it!” I was sending righteous thoughts to ask Master to help us to leave whilst practitioner A dealt with that guy. At that time, that guy calmed down and we took the opportunity to leave. On the way home, we appreciated Master’s compassionate care from the bottom of our heart and talked about each other’s attachments.
Another time, I distributed the truth materials with practitioner B by walking to the village fifty miles away. We specifically walked through barren and private streets. When we passed through the village, we distributed truth materials and posted truth slogans. Even at the cemetery, we were not scared because we can tell that Master was with us. When we came to a village to send the truth materials, some barking dogs were suddenly sent out to see if we were thieves. I couldn’t help but to say calmly, “Don’t bite Dafa disciples! We are here to save your owner by giving the truth materials.” Maybe because I didn’t fear, those dogs obediently stopped chasing and barking.
With Master’s compassionate support, we finally went back home shortly before dawn. Although my feet had blisters with a little pain, my heart felt so warm because I can save people.
Later in a magical dream, I saw myself flying in the sky. The sky became brighter and brighter as I was flying. Then a glorious heavenly world with pavilions appeared. There were aromatic and exotic flowers and herbs. Two fairies brought a plate of food like dumplings to me. Without enjoying the food, I watched the beautiful view of the sky with them. When I woke up, I realized Master encouraged me to strive forward diligently to save more beings.
Over the years, whether it is in the heat or severe cold, I always insist on saving beings in variety of ways. There were sweetness and bitterness, surprise or happiness. However, with Master's compassionate care, we were always safe and I deeply appreciate our compassionate and revered Master!
Thanks to Master's compassionate care which makes our cultivation smooth until today. I will all the more insist on Dafa cultivation and saving more beings, plus cultivating myself better to verify the Fa and to live up to Master's salvation of us.
