My Experience Sharing In Persistently Clarifying the Truth Face to Face to Precious Chinese People

Greetings Master! Greetings Fellow Practitioners!

I want to share my experience in persistently clarifying the truth face to face to precious Chinese people.

1. Letting Go Attachments of Worry and Comfort, Going to the Tourist Spots Persistently to Clarify the Truth.

In “Fa Teaching at the 2013 Western U.S. Fa Conference” Master already emphasized the importance of clarifying the truth to tourists from mainland China. I went to the tourist spots several times after coming back from the Fahui, but I did not continue in doing so. In listening to Master’s lecture at the “Fa Teaching on World Falun Dafa Day” in 2014, I was deeply touched when Master reiterated the importance of the tourist spots. Master said, “As I mentioned at the last Fa conference, [our group as a whole] must not let up with our truth-clarification at tourist spots. Especially with tourists coming out of mainland China, you really must focus your truth-clarification on them.”

I wanted to go to the tourist spots to clarify the truth one year ago, but I didn’t persist. I asked myself: what was it that stopped me from going persistently like other fellow practitioners no matter if it rains or shines? Stepping out of my work building, to the left side is the city hall square, to the right hand side is the famous “Eaton Center” frequented by visitors. In fellow practitioners’ words, I have exceptional convenience in terms of going to these tourist spots. One year almost passed! Looking back, several times when I thought of going to clarify the truth at the tourist spots during my lunch break, I was either delayed by work or my colleague suddenly asked me to help him in the office. I now discovered that it was my attachment of concerns and comfort that were actually interfering with me.

If I go out to the square at lunch hour, it is likely that within two meters I will bump into a colleague from the same building. Most of them are lawyers or judges. I have already clarified the truth to many of them and also have built up pretty good relationships. If I went to clarify the truth to the Chinese tourists right under their nose, what if the Chinese people I talked to showed a negative attitude towards me? I was afraid that my colleagues who observed might have a misunderstanding about me. Isn’t this going to undermine the good image that they have about me? When I dug out these attachments of concerns, fear, and pursuit of fame, I was shocked to find that with these attachments in my mind, I was actually placing saving the sentient beings as secondary.

For quite some time when I meet Chinese people at work, the majority of them always respect me and are willing to listen to the truth. They are ready to quit the CCP once I clarify the truth to them. I have got used to it and feel comfortable the way that I clarify the truth at my work place, and it is in fact the attachment of pursuing comfort. After I rooted out all the attachments, I felt light-hearted. When I changed my notions and purified my heart, I did not meet any Chinese tourists with bad attitudes at this tourist spot. As to the concerns that my colleagues won’t understand if they see me doing this, it is also a human notion that just delimited myself.

Letting go of my notions and eliminating my attachments, it does not seem difficult in persistently going and clarifying the truth at the tourist spots. I always feel Master’s ingenious arrangement. One day at lunch time, I saw a Chinese man sitting on the bench. Via conversation, I found out that he just came to Toronto from China for a conference at a hotel across the street. We started a friendly chat. I talked to him about my understanding of loving China – is to love Chinese people. For example, when Chinese clients come to court, I will do my best to help them. Loving China absolutely does not mean loving the Chinese Communist Regime dictatorship. He agreed with what I said, and he agreed to quit the CCP related organizations. I continued to clarify the truth of the staged self-immolation incident to him. He listened attentively and nodded with understanding about the truth. I told him the nine magic words of “Falun Dafa is good and Zhen Shan Ren is good.” He accepted it readily. I asked him whether he had read the book “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”, he said not yet, but he wanted to get a copy. I told him that I would go to my office and get a copy for him. He waited for me until I got the book and passed it to him. He said he would read it carefully.

One day at the “Eaton Center”, I saw a senior Chinese couple who were looking around. I approached them and asked if there was anything I can do for them? They said they came from Tianjin to visit their son. They came to this shopping center to spend their free time. When they heard that I worked close by at a courthouse, they asked whether they could go with me to visit the court since they had nothing else to do. As a result, they went with me into the courthouse. After clarifying the truth to them, they agreed to quit the CCP-related organizations. I took them with me to visit a court that was having a trial. When we stepped out of the courtroom, the husband asked me: “Is it God that instructed you to find us?” I thought they believed in God, and I asked them: “So you go to church? And you believe in God?” He answered: “We do not believe in God and we do not go to church either, but it happened just as miraculously as if God sent you to find us. How come we met you today? And you even brought us to visit the court!” I said: “I believe in the predestined relationship, this might just as well come as a result of our predestined relationship.” I asked them to remember the nine words of the amulet, and so the wife repeated with me several times “Falun Dafa is good! Zhen Shan Ren is good!”

In fact, my workplace is a heritage building that has a history of over one hundred years. After realizing the importance of clarifying the truth to the Chinese tourists, I started to pay attention to the Chinese appearing in my building. From time to time, I also have the chance to clarify the truth to Chinese tourists without stepping out of my building. Once I met four Chinese people in the hallway, one of them carried a big camera. We started chatting and he told me he is a local resident, and the other three are his relatives who just came here for summer vacation from Inner Mongolia, China. When I talked about the importance of quitting the CCP, the local Chinese young man told me when he went to Ottawa; a Falun Gong practitioner in Ottawa already helped him quit the CCP. I continued by saying: you made a rational decision to quit, now how about your relatives? They came from mainland China to visit and this is a very precious opportunity for them to make their own decision. As a result, all his three relatives clearly stated that they also wanted to quit the CCP-related organizations. This local Chinese told me that he was aware of the truth of the staged self-immolation incident, and he would definitely share with more of his family and friends about the truth. This kind of experience I believe is to remind me the importance to clarify the truth to the local Chinese. They after all play a really important role in clarifying the truth to the tourists who came from mainland China.

2. Imprinting the Truth with Strong Energy in the Minds of the Sentient Beings

Every weekend, we persist in going to another truth-clarifying site. At this site, very often, just within a few seconds, Master strengthens us to find a starting point to naturally clarify the truth with wisdom. Sometimes, we help them find their way; sometimes we help them push their luggage cart. In essence, we just do it out of the goodness for others and conform to the etiquette of the ordinary society. Many Chinese agreed to quit the CCP and they thanked us from their hearts. Some of them, after making their right decision, also helped us to continue to clarify the truth to their family members.

Once I saw a mom and a daughter followed by their other family members in the lobby. I was just thinking how to approach them in a natural way, and it so happened that I had a chance to talk to the daughter alone. I understood that she came to see her mother off, and her mom was going back to Beijing after visiting her. This daughter agreed to quit the CCP after I clarified the truth to her. Thinking that her mom is returning to China, I tried several times to talk to her mom, but she was surrounded by her other family members, and it was difficult to start a conversation like that. I waited and when her daughter stood up to help her mom go to the security check, I approached them and found out that her mom is a CCP party member and I had a name ready for her. Then I told her it is important to keep safe when we travel, and now to quit the CCP is the best way. She gave me a straight forward answer, “Sure.” Her other family members who were following them kept asked her daughter what I was doing to her mom. This daughter asked her to keep quiet so that I could continue. I continued to tell the mother that remembering the nine magic words: “Zhen Shan Ren is good and Falun Dafa is good!” will bring her good fortune especially in travel. She gave another straight forward answer, “Sure.” This happened just within one minute before she entered the security gate. She looked back, waving to me saying: “Thank you! Bye-bye!”

I used to have a notion. I felt confident and persuasive only when I spent some time clarifying the truth in depth to the Chinese people whom I met. My experience at this truth-clarifying site helped me break through the notion. In “Zhuan Falun”, Master said, “While teaching the Fa, I am imprinting very powerful energy in your mind. You may not recall specifically what I have said after stepping outside the door, but when you actually encounter this issue, you will remember what I said.”

Sometimes after the Chinese people agreed to quit but I did not have time to further clarify the truth of Dafa to them, I would always remember this paragraph of Master’s Fa. I will remind myself to imprint very powerful energy into the sentient beings’ mind with the truth of Dafa. Although they may not be able to remember everything when they step outside the door, but when the disaster descends, if they can remember the nine magic words, if they can read out loud, “Falun Dafa is good! Zhen Shan Ren is good!” which means they acknowledge Dafa and position themselves well, this will for sure save them from the catastrophes.

3. Upgrading Xinxing.

In clarifying the truth to the precious Chinese people, I came across people who are willing to quit, I also met people who did not understand, said bad things, or gave dirty looks and were not willing to quit. This experience is very similar to “wandering around” in cultivation. No matter what situation I came across, I asked myself to pay attention to nothing other than upgrading my xinxing. When they agreed to quit, I am very clear-minded, “It is achieved because of Master’s compassion and the mighty virtue of Dafa!” As a Dafa disciple, I was just given by Master this great opportunity to cultivate myself. When I came across people who did not indicate explicitly the wish to quit, I would always make it clear to them that: quitting the CCP is a very important decision. It is not for the purpose of counting the numbers. For over one hundred and seventy millions Chinese who made their decision to quit the CCP, they did it out of their willing heart. If one temporarily cannot make a clear decision to quit, I cannot help him for now. He can wait until he makes up his mind and he can go online to the Epoch Times website to quit.

In all circumstances, no matter how the sentient beings respond, I just keep my heart unmoved, while keeping a compassionate and peaceful state of mind. Just like Master mentions in “Zhuan Falun, Lecture Eight”, “Wandering around in society is rather torturous. It must beg for food and meet different kinds of people who will scold, insult, or take advantage of it. It might encounter all kinds of things. It will treat itself as a practitioner and balance well relations with others, always maintaining and upgrading xinxing……”

One time a fellow practitioner asked me to talk to a Chinese man who looked very unkind. I did not think much and just approached him. I nodded to him in a friendly manner before I sat down. I asked whether he heard about quitting the CCP to keep safe. He kept quiet. I continued by saying why quitting the CCP is important. I was in the middle of talking when he suddenly raised his fist at me and yelled that if I continued the same topic, he would call the police. Usually in facing this situation, I would answer back by saying this is Canada, the police are protecting Falun Gong, and this is not like mainland China. But on that day, my heart was not moved, and I understood very clearly that the truth I clarified to him was just like the sharp swords shooting towards the other dimensions, eliminating all the evil elements behind him, and it was all these evil elements that were afraid to be eliminated and so controlled him to react like that. I was not moved by his bad attitude, and I talked to him with pure compassion, “If you do not want to talk about this topic, we can. You don’t need to get so mad, since this is not good for you.” When finishing, I did not leave. Instead I sat there quietly, sending forth righteous thoughts. I was thinking from his perspective, begging Master to give him another chance. My mind and body was fully enveloped with huge energy. Although he did not quit, for me in facing his yelling, my heart was not moved and my xinxing was upgraded. I felt “The Buddha-light Illuminates Everywhere and Rectifies All Abnormalities”.

4. Every Minute and Every Second Is Crucial, Using Every Chance to Clarify the Truth

The above-mentioned experience made me cherish every single Chinese person that I meet. Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference": “Right now every minute and every second is crucial. If you miss out during this period of time, you miss out on everything.” I asked myself why I wait until I go to the tourist spots to clarify the truth. Why don’t I cherish every single minute and second to clarify the truth? With the urgency of saving sentient beings in my mind, our compassionate Master always makes great arrangements to bring me precious Chinese people. At the hairdresser, bakery, restaurant, at my home when the workers come to do the renovations, at the places where I took my kid to perform etc, there are always predestined Chinese people, who are waiting for me, and they are clearly willing to quit the CCP. Once at a Chinese grocery store, a man who just came from Mainland China to visit his son, came up to me and asked, “Which kind of cucumbers do you think taste better?” Or in seeing a little toddler walking towards me, I held out my hand to him, afraid that he might fall, so naturally I ended up talking to his grandma who was behind him. The grandma told me she came from China just a few days ago. So long as I had a very natural way to start our conversation, I always succeeded in persuading them to quit the CCP. Waiting for the train to come into the station, walking across the street, the car dealer who called my home, etc every opportunity can be turned into a natural way to clarify the truth. Sometimes, even an accidental look at a stranger was turned into a great opportunity to clarify the truth in an upright and righteous manner.

Just like every early morning, doing the exercises, SFRT and reading the Fa have become an indispensable part of my life, clarifying the truth to precious Chinese people has become an automatic mechanism installed in my dimension. Master said in “Zhuan Falun”, “Can you do that by yourself? You cannot. These things are arranged by the master and performed by the master. Therefore, it is said that cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while transforming gong is done by one’s master. You can only have such a wish and think about it like that, but it is the master who actually does these things.” Every single word of Master’s Fa is heavenly truth, which has been validated again and again in many instances in clarifying the truth.

5. Harmonizing the Family，Doing Well in Both Clarifying the Truth and Taking Family Vacation

Several times my family suggested that we go for vacation. Basically I did not say anything, but inside my heart I knew I did not want to go. Sometimes I had complaints in my mind: Time to save the sentient beings is really tight. Every day, I even want to divide one minute into two. Where can I squeeze and find any spare time to accompany the family to take a vacation? I created my own conflict between saving sentient beings and my family life. I very seldom took into consideration my family’s feelings and request for a vacation. My poor xinxing and notions that were not within the Fa were broken through during the persistent efforts in going to the tourist spots. Thanks to Master’s compassionate arrangement, a few weeks ago, my husband achieved his wish to take the whole family for a vacation. The kids were very happy, and so was my husband. It was not until then did I realize that my family were not asking too much to ask for a vacation. And if I put my heart into it, it was quite easy to keep them satisfied. But how come for quite some time, I could not make it? As practitioners, we are not attached to making our family harmonious, but it does not mean our practitioners’ families are not harmonious. As practitioners, we are not attached to making our children or family happy, but it does not mean that our children and family are not supposed to be happy. When our family is harmonious and our children and husband are happy, doesn’t it put us in a better position to validate Dafa? I feel ashamed of myself, since for such a simple principle, it is only after I got rid of my selfishness in facing my family that I eventually came to understand and make it. When I really follow the teachings of the Fa, always putting others first, learning to step back and harmonize the family when different ideas come up, when I learn how to relinquish myself and step back, I find that “the seas and the skies become boundless”.

For the two-day vacation, Master brought predestined Chinese to me in such a natural way. It seemed that they were there waiting for me. As to quitting the CCP, it came as a clear choice out of their own heart once they heard the truth. As a tourist, it also gave me the opportunity to switch my role, and think from the perspective of a tourist to see the acceptable ways to a Chinese tourist when he is approached by a stranger. I believe it is very simple: just conform to the good, kind and sincere side of the ordinary society. If we keep a strong attachment of pursuit, in order to get a chance to clarify the truth, we do some good things perfunctorily. This purpose is also an attachment. If we can let go of this attachment, and think about how an enlightened higher being that has assimilated to Dafa will put others first in this human world, the wisdom coming from the Fa will make an ordinary Chinese people accept our sincerity. One day at a tourist site, it started to rain, I had my umbrella with me, and I saw a senior Chinese standing beside me with no umbrella. I approached him with my open umbrella so as to give him shelter from the rain. He thanked me and we started chatting. He just came to visit from Jiangsu, China, and he had been a CCP party member for long time. As a natural result of clarifying the truth, he agreed to quit the CCP.

Master told us in "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference" that "Clarifying the truth during these gigantic changes has already become the major way of saving all beings and the world's people, so in doing this, the wisdom that Dafa has given you and the enormous capability that the Fa has provided you with are manifesting."

It is Master’s compassion to remind us of our sacred vow and not to slack off in the near future. Thank you Master! Thank you fellow practitioners!
