Master taught us this year how to send forth righteous thoughts at the Canada Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference. The process of Fa-rectification has begun a new phase. Master told us in Zhuan Falun,” When one chants the Buddha’s name, one must do it single-mindedly with nothing else in mind until all other portions of the brain become numb and one becomes unaware of anything, with one thought replacing thousands of others, or until each word of “Buddha Amitabha” shows up before one’s eyes.” In order to eliminate bad thoughts in my mind while I sent forth righteous thoughts, in my mind I repeated over and over again the phrase “The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated.” But there was always interference. I often “wrote” the wrong words down in my head. I resolved to overcome this difficulty, to write every stroke carefully, even adding all punctuation marks. I would “rewrite” without hesitation if I made a single mistake. Once I got past the interference, after some time, these words became clearer in my mind.
With more and more instructions from Master about the meaning and importance of sending righteous thoughts I understand that the clearer our understanding on the function of sending righteous thoughts, the better will be the effects of sending righteous thoughts. Therefore, before sending righteous thoughts, I do some preparations. First of all, I imagine that my body is extremely enormous and all of the Three Realms are displayed fully in front of my eyes. Yet, I’m a Dafa particle, a purest one, who was born for the Fa and exists for the Fa. As Dafa particles, it our duty to take the responsibility for the Fa, for the universe and for the safety of all living beings. Our actions must reflect that. Degenerated beings are damaging the universe and destroying all sentient beings. All particles should try their best to take part in the process of Fa-rectification and eradicate the evil. While sending righteous thoughts we should raise the benevolence in our hearts. When I eradicate the evil in Three Realms, I imagine that my gong is imbedded into all of the kinds of molecular elements in the Three Realms, “encompassing all of it and leaving out none.” Let two verses (“The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated”) fill up all the molecules that they can reach, filling up more and more, until they have flowed into all the molecules and have assimilated all of them. Do not give the evil a single amount of space to exist. I ask myself to write these words with my heart and with my own blood. At the beginning I saw each word as large as the Three Realms and each word was dripping with blood. Gradually, the words gave off a red light. Sometimes it was glittering. Sometimes layers of resplendent, dazzling and beautiful images were displayed inside the words. Sometimes these words had sound, which came from deep in my heart, from the origin of my life, and from days of old. The sound was sent to the eternal future, while resounding across the heavens. When my righteous thoughts are very pure, they have the force of a landslide and the power of a tidal wave, shaking the universe. While sending forth 'The Fa rectifies the cosmos,” layers of new, glorious worlds are created, and wherever “ the Evil is completely eliminated' has been accomplished, old forces were eliminated, layer-by-layer.
When I eliminated the Mainland’s evils, I imagined that these words completely eradicated the evils in other dimensions. Meanwhile, I embedded these words into the evildoer’s body in this human world, even into their cells. I make these two verses take root in and sprout out of their body. Then, the people who still have a conscience will be rectified, and those who cannot be saved will get immediate retribution in this lifetime. I asked all my righteous sides, which were rectified in my paradise, to take part in the process of the Fa-rectification and eradicate the evil together.
Understanding of the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts, I extended the time for sending forth righteous thoughts from 5 minutes to half an hour, even one hour. But after several times I felt so tired in mind and body. Then I started to give in to the fatigue, and keep myself relaxed. I shortened the time for sending righteous thoughts. Meanwhile, the thoughts I sent forth were not determined and powerful. I also tried to find an excuse for myself. I was thinking that I had been so busy lately, working on the Fa-rectification, and that I needed to take a break. I understood the fatigue from the standpoint of a human’s notion, not from the Fa at all. It seemed that the only thing that could help me restore my energy was to have a good rest. Later on I realized that the old forces saw the end of their reign, their death, and they were struggling and seizing every opportunity to survive, while my human side gave the old forces a fertile environment to live.
A while after that I read some articles written by fellow practitioners, which were about their thinking about time, space, and fatigue. I got lots of inspirations. I understood that in hardships we could break through our realm and enlighten to a new level of principles. Hardship is our new starting point to improve. It is also a good opportunity to build our great, mighty virtue.
Everything is matter. Yet, all matter has life in another dimension. When we accept fatigue, are afraid of it, and put up with it, then the principle on this level will control us. “…And these attachments are sure to be controlled and taken advantage of by evil beings. Evil beings look specifically for your thoughts that contain attachments in order to strengthen them and achieve their aim of taking control.” (“Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference”). I realized that we should send forth righteous thoughts to clear out this “human logic that you, as an ordinary human, have formed deep in your bones over thousands of years” (“Cautionary Advice”). We should not allow the old forces to take advantage of this logic and allow them to prevent us from taking part in the process of the Fa-rectification. I will try my all to eradicate the evil in the domain of my paradise.
