The Most Trustworthy People

[PureInsight.org] My parents are already old, but they nonetheless have the job of guarding a warehouse for a company. My mother called me yesterday asking me to come over and take care of guarding the warehouse when they visit their home town in Shandong Province later this year. I asked why they don’t get help from my two brothers since both of them live close to my parents. My mother said, “It won’t work with your brothers. There are many things in the warehouse and things will be out of control if someone takes some items from it and sells them for money. I know you won’t do that—after all, you’re a Falun Gong practitioner.” I was moved by her words.

My sister opened a restaurant two weeks ago and she invited me for the opening ceremony. It was a chain store and the CEO also came from Beijing to celebrate. After helping them for several days, I had to leave. The CEO told my sister that her elder sister (me) seemed to be the best person in the family. My sister said, “You’re right—she’s a Falun Gong practitioner. Although I don’t practice, I believe it and I support her. I also plan to hire some practitioners in the future.” The CEO said Falun Gong practitioners are indeed good people. He then asked me to find some Falun Gong books for him to read and learn the exercises. He has now become a practitioner.

Before the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, a local policeman came to make trouble for me and attempted to drive me away with the excuse of lacking residential paperwork. One of my student's grandfather heard about this and went to the policeman, “All three of my grandchildren have been going to her [my] place for extracurricular help and most of the students in our community do so, too. This is because she’s a good person and people believe in her. Do you want to drive her away because she practices Falun Gong? Having a belief is her basic right and you cannot simply follow the Communist regime’s foolishness. If you force her to leave, I’ll send all my grandchildren to your house for extracurricular help. Whoever arrests her, I‘ll sue that person!” That policeman was afraid and apologized. When seeing me later, he greeted me and offered to help me with my residential paperwork.

I have an everyday friend and her whole family likes to drink fresh milk. She asked me if any of the milk farmers around town practice Falun Gong and I said yes. She said people are adulterating almost everything these days and only Falun Gong practitioners are trustworthy. She hoped to find such vendors to supply her with milk.

Another friend of mine wanted to hire a babysitter and was looking around for Falun Gong practitioners to do it. Soon afterward, she found one who was babysitting in one family. That family supported the practitioner’s studying the Fa and doing the exercises. When hearing that someone else wanted to hire her, that family strongly disagreed, “She [the practitioner] not only looks after the child conscientiously, but also does extra work that does not belong to her. When we have some worries or depression, she is able to explain and comfort us with Falun Gong principles. We have now become good friends. If she leaves, where can we find another good person like her?”

Huang Hao, a middle school student, has been seeking extracurricular help on English since she was very young. Despite a large amount of money having been spent on this, her English score was still not high. Her parents were worried and asked around where to find a good teacher. One day on the way to visit a friend, Huang was still thinking about where she could find a good teacher. Suddenly she fell down and, after standing up and looking at the bulletin board in front her, she saw an advertisement for extracurricular help by a teacher surnamed Hao (that same pronunciation as “good” in Chinese). She thought that was interesting and wanted to give it a try. She contacted the teacher and liked the class very much. After one month, her score improved dramatically. Her parents were also very happy. In addition, Huang learned the truth from the teacher and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s Youth League. She also told her parents that the teacher was a Falun Gong practitioner. Her mother was not surprised, “No wonder Huang could make such significant progress. I already knew that teachers who practice Falun Gong are always good.”

One cleaning lady had breast cancer, but she did not seek medical therapy since she could not afford it. After learning the truth of Falun Gong, she kept reciting “Falun Dafa is good” and recovered very soon. She decided to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and asked her family as well as friends to do the same. When encountering difficulty or problems, she always went to talk with practitioners. She said even siblings have trust barriers because they all pursue each individual's personal interest, and that only Falun Gong practitioners sincerely wanted to help others. Because of her positive attitude towards Falun Gong, her family also benefited from it. In addition, she tried to be a better person like the practitioners and on several occasions returned lost valuables, such as jewelry, to owners after finding them. When the owners asked her why she did it, she said it was because she followed Falun Gong practitioners’ words and that no other people were trustworthy.

There are also many stories that when factories or stores hired people, many of them preferred Falun Gong practitioners. Especially for positions involving accounting or finance, people trust practitioners even more than their own relatives. Some convenience store owners do not allow customers buy merchandise on credit, but they said Falun Gong practitioners were an exception since practitioners always paid in full very soon.

In this society of moral degeneration, Falun Gong practitioners have done many good deeds, quietly and from their heart. No matter how the CCP attempts to defame and persecute Falun Gong, the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance will surpass anything since they are the foundation and hope of our society. That makes the followers of these principles—Falun Gong practitioners—the most trustworthy people.
