[PureInsight.org] Practitioner A always took truth-clarification materials from practitioner B every week. One day, practitioner A did not show up as expected. Several days later, news published on the Clearwisdom.net website said practitioner A was arrested. This led many local practitioners to worry for both practitioner A and their own safety.
The next day, I asked practitioner B what he thought about the situation. He said, “I do not think we need to do something special, other than looking within and sending forth righteous thoughts to help practitioner A oppose all evil elements involved in the persecution. If we are disturbed, that means we are acknowledging the old forces’ arrangement. That is, we lack confidence in practitioner A and our thoughts will negatively influence him.”
I was touched by practitioner B’s righteous thoughts and that he was not disturbed. Apparently, his righteous thoughts were much stronger than mine.
From then on, practitioners in the area added extra time to sending forth righteous thoughts for practitioner A, even during group Fa-study. Practitioner B did not seem to be disturbed and he kept on doing the three things as well as maintaining a steady mindset.
Everyday, local practitioners paid attention to practitioner A’s situation. But we knew nothing about his whereabouts other than that he was being detained.
About two months later, practitioner A was released without yielding to the evil. When meeting practitioner B, he told practitioner B two things about his detention:
1) He did not say anything against Dafa.
2) He did not betray any practitioners.
In fact, during detention practitioner A was taking opportunities to clarify the truth and save sentient beings.
Over more than two months, without seeing each other or having any communication, these two practitioners were able to oppose the old forces’ arrangement based on their determined faith in Dafa. Facing this sudden persecution, with calmness and wisdom, they knew Master would help resolve the tribulation. Therefore, with strong belief in Maser and Dafa, they were walking the path arranged by Master without hesitation. No matter what kind of difficulty and pressure they were facing, these practitioners could place the Fa in the highest priority and truly be considerate of others. They were able to oppose the old forces’ arrangement from their thoughts to their actions. In fact, if a practitioner can let go of life and death, and really follow Master’s words, the outcome will be the best. After all, Master has made arrangements for every practitioner.
Through this incident, I had a better understanding of Master’s words, “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide” (“The Master-Disciple Bond,” Hong Yin-Volume II) It is critical for a practitioner to maintain strong righteous thoughts amidst a tribulation, or when facing the test of life and death, or in front of various temptations. If a practitioner can achieve this, it is the most outstanding.
Master can do anything for us; the important thing is how much faith we have in Master and the Fa. The stronger the righteous thoughts we have, the more power the Fa will manifest in front of us. In Essentials for Further Advancement II, Master said, “Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos’s Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples’ rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the unrighteous elements in all beings’ thoughts disintegrate. However strong the righteous thoughts are, that’s how great the power is. Dafa disciples are truly stepping forward out of ordinary humanness” (“Also In a Few Words”).
When we have righteous thoughts, many things can be changed and undesirable situations can lead to positive outcomes. Things may not appear that significant on the surface but it is very powerful and can change many things in this dimension.
The above example of supporting practitioners with righteous thoughts and opposing the old forces’ arrangement greatly encouraged local practitioners. Many practitioners now have more confidence and no longer feel pessimistic about the current environment.
I hope more practitioners can catch up with pace of the Fa-rectification in this New Year. With strong righteous thoughts and rationality, we can fully use our wisdom and supernormal abilities to save sentient beings.
