[PureInsight.org] In the 2008 Divine Performing Arts show, there was a dancing program entitled “Good Thoughts Form a Karmic Relationship with Cultivation.” The story began as two urban youths went by an old temple. It was raining, so they went into the temple to take shelter and the roof started to leak. One of the two young men was afraid the Buddha statue could be damaged by the rain, so he put his own hat on the Buddha statue and removed his coat to cover the Bodhisattva statue. Then the two young men leaned against each other to have a nap.
While they slept, they had a dream that all the statues in the temple became alive, including the Buddha, the Buddha's warrior attendants and the heavenly maidens. Some of the heavenly beings pointed out the two youths’ unkempt clothing, some taught them basic good manners and some told them about cultivation. They also gave the book Zhuan Falun to these two young men. The young men were enlightened. They decided to correct their previous bad behaviors and make a new beginning. They also started to cultivate.
Recently, something happened in Tianjin City that resembles this story.
Ms. He Yana lives in the Dagang District of Tianjin City. Nine years ago she was sent to labor camp because of her wrongdoing. Inside the labor camp she came to know an elderly lady who practiced Falun Gong. After her release, she married the son of the elderly lady and began to practice Falun Gong. To express her gratitude, she often told others about the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa. However, someone reported her to the police. On March 9, the police arrested her and took her to the Tianjin Drug Abstinence Center.
At the drug abstinence center, Ms. He Yana regarded herself as a genuine Dafa practitioner and always disciplined herself with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The drug addicts who met her said, “she [Ms. He Yana] is different from us.” Police also had a positive attitude towards her and asked her to lead the drug addicts in preparing a show for June 26—the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Thus, Ms. He Yana composed a group dance on how she started to practice Falun Gong and made a new beginning. During the program review, a drug abstinence center official and several police guards were impressed by it. A group of young, degenerated people, enlightened by the Falun Dafa principles, started to have good thoughts and wanted to practice Falun Gong...
Then, something extraordinary happened at the scene. A rotating, colorful Falun appeared at the center of the meeting hall. Everyone was very surprised by this, and it was a shock to everyone. After the group silence, one official said with low voice, “Very good.”
This story was overheard by other people at the drug abstinence center, and people discussed it with much interest and were awaiting the show on June 26. However, when the day came closer, this show that had been running for several years was canceled.
This show was canceled, but no one can cancel the Buddha Fa or cancel the memory of the Falun that appeared at the scene. After ten years of persecution, Falun Gong is still popular and it has now reached one hundred and fourteen countries or principalities. Zhuan Falun has also been translated into 38 different languages.
