[PureInsight.org] This is a true story. In February of this year, I went to Hengyang City, Hunan Province on a business trip. I went to a hospital to visit the grandfather of the wife of a general manager who I met through a business transaction. The last time I saw the 75-year-old man, he was only able to move slowly and even then only with the help of others.
One day, I was driving with the general manager. He told me, “I’m afraid my wife’s grandfather won't pull through. The hospital told us to plan for the worst and to start to make funeral arrangements.” He was upset when he said those words. I then told the general manager, “Have your grandfather-in-law recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good.’ It will have an extraordinary effect on him if he recites these words with sincerity.” I then asked the general manager if this grandfather was a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or its affiliate organizations. He called his wife to check, and the answer was affirmative. I told the general manager that the first thing his grandfather-in-law needed to do was to quit the CCP. The general manager and his chauffeur had previously quit the CCP, and so the general manager knew that quitting the CCP and its affiliate organizations brings good fortune. The manager had since started reciting, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good.”
The general manager bought an MP3 player on our way to a hotel, and he asked me to help load the songs “Falun Dafa is good,” “Pudu,” and “Jishi” on it. I had already put these songs on his cell phone. He said he felt good after listening to them. His chauffeur also enjoyed listening to the music. After we arrived at the hotel, I helped the manager read some articles on the Minghui website. He read a story about how an 85-year-old man recited, “Falun Dafa is good” sincerely and then improved his health after being on the verge of death. This story gave him confidence that his wife’s grandfather could also recover.
We went to the hospital together. His grandfather-in-law agreed to quit the CCP. I told the elderly man to recite, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good,” and the general manager encouraged him to do so as well. I wrote these two phrases on a piece of paper and told the old man to recite them. He recited the words right away. During that visit, I also convinced another family member to withdraw from the CCP.
Time passed and I did not go back to Hunan Province. I soon forgot the incident. However, a few days ago, the general manager sent me a short letter, “Grandfather is now able to go out and play cards. It is all due to reciting those two sentences.” My reply to him was, “You can tell you friends and relatives that those two sentences are priceless. When one recites them sincerely, they can change disaster into blessings and bring about a wonderful future.”
