[PureInsight.org] Whenever I encounter people who do not understand Falun Gong, they often say something like, “What Falun Gong teaches is neither visible nor touchable, so how can you believe these things?” For instance, they might mention “The Supernormal Ability of Clairvoyance” from Lecture 2 of Zhuan Falun. How can a person who is in Location “A” actually see clearly the layout of a room in Location “B,” as if he were in Location “B” himself?

I have a friend who has three family members, and they all practice Falun Gong. Before practicing Falun Gong, her parents had poor health. They got sick very often. Even though they did not have serious illnesses, they often visited the hospital. Their home was practically like a medicine shop. Because they had visited doctors so many times, they had become like half-doctors themselves. Once they started to practice Falun Gong, they became healthy very quickly.

Not long after they became healthy, Jiang started to unlawfully persecute Falun Gong. Facing so many lies, my friend’s family could not simply stay home and enjoy the goodness that Falun Dafa brought to them. They are people who directly benefited from practicing Falun Gong, so they had something to say. With hope in their government, they went to Beijing to appeal. Like tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in China, they were illegally arrested by police.

At that time, my friend was in her first year of middle school. One month after school started, she went to Beijing with her parents. She was illegally detained in Beijing for a few days and then transferred to a local jail. Thirty-seven days later, she returned home. After taking a little bit of time to readjust herself, she went back to school. But by that time, it was already almost time for their final exams.

My friend had average grades when she first entered school. And now she had missed so many classes because of the government’s persecution of Falun Gong. Moreover, this was a new school for her. She was not familiar with any of the students or teachers. Therefore, no one from school asked her about her studies. Her relatives and neighbors thought, “This girl’s studies are in big trouble.”

But my friend had a very good mindset. She arranged her time very well. In addition to making up the classes she missed, she still read Falun Gong books and practiced the exercises. And then a miracle happened! She got the highest score in her class on the final exams.

Falun Gong can open up a person’s innate wisdom. I look at the parents around me. They arrange a lot of extra study time and classes for their kids in the hopes that this will help their kids to get good grades. Those little kids endured a lot of unnecessary pressure. They could not enjoy any peace of mind or true happiness. Seeing kids like these, I always think that it would be so good if these kids could study Falun Gong.
