[PureInsight.org] Once upon a
time, a scholar and his fiancee set up a date for their wedding.
However, on that very day his fiancee married someone else. He was in
such a state of shock that he became ill and had to lie in bed. Then
there came a wandering monk, who took out a looking glass from his
pocket and showed it to the scholar.
The scholar saw a vast ocean and a naked female body, apparently hurt,
on the beach. A passerby had a look at the body, shook his head, and
then left. Another passerby came and removed his own clothes to cover
the body. Another passerby saw the body and dug a hole to bury the
woman.
The monk explained: "The body on the beach was your fiancee in her
previous life. You were the second passerby and gave her your clothes.
She fell in love with you in this life, which was just to return her
gratitude. However, eventually she needs to repay her whole life to the
person who was the last passerby and now is her current husband."
The scholar suddenly had insight.
In you previous life, who on earth buried you?
Meng Po said: "You, who are traveling, have one of my drinks and
release your thirst." The people who were thirsty drank, then the image
of the person who buried them in their previous life became vaguely
apparent.
They started to look around in panic and tried to find the beloved in the crowd.
"Thousands of times I have been looking for that person in the crowd.
Suddenly, looking back, the very person is just there in the
limelight."
In fact, when you hold his/her hand, the memory remaining from your
previous life is reminding you that the person who buried you in your
previous life is the one who is beside you and loves you.
The ocean under the moon is reflecting the light on its waves.
Go to see the ocean under the moon with your sweetheart. The deep water might hide your memory from your previous life.
The old spirit on the Three-life Stone, isn't a beautiful myth? Holding
hands and walking on the silver beach with the beloved who buried you
in your previous life, would it be the perfect happiness in one's life?
Some say Sakyamuni Buddha said that the person who marries you is the one who buried you in your previous life.
When I first realized this and then I found that there was a destiny.
One might love many people in his/her life,
One might meet many people in his/her life.
Right or wrong are no longer important. The most important factor is who buried you in your previous life.
Will he/she show up at some moment and finish the karma from the previous life?
What is love? Perhaps no one understands. I don't.
Too much hurt and compassion have changed one who was kind originally.
Though one wants to be himself/herself, too much sacrifice has to be made.
Or maybe no one buried me in my previous life.
Maybe I was a wandering spirit.
I don't want to have too many regrets.
Nor too much care.
When you show up
Just a question: is that you? That's enough.
P.S.:
I believe there is a future world. I don't owe others, don't hurt
people, or commit adultery, because the person who doesn't owe will
have money in his/her future life.
Buddha said: Five hundred glances in the previous life will be exchanged for brushing past someone in this life.
One who doesn't hurt others will be happy in his/her future life, and
One will have a happy marriage in his/her future life if he/she doesn't commit adultery.
