Trying Our Utmost to Facilitate Master's Arrangements

A Dafa Practitioner in Germany

[PureInsight.org] (European Fahui 2007) I would like to speak about my experiences on preparation work for Europe's Divine Performing Arts Troupe shows. Most European countries are now engaged in the preparation for the Divine Performing Arts Troupe show in 2008, which is our European practitioners' honour as we all know that this is part of Master' Fa-rectification. Today I would like to share with you our understanding of two pieces of Master's teachings during the preparation of the show.

At the beginning of this year, Paris and Berlin had the honour of hosting the Chinese New Year Spectacular. But in March of last year, when we were discussing whether to hold the show in Europe, practitioners had different understandings and concerns. Our biggest worry was that the practitioners in Berlin were busy with many other Dafa projects. Could we still have enough people and resources for this large-scale project? Besides that, the funding needed was much greater than in ordinary Dafa projects we had. Therefore, we had a long discussion on whether to hold the show or not.

Last July, some European practitioners and I had the honour to meet Master and listen to Master's teaching in person in New York. One sentence Master said impressed me most: "Not to advance is to go back!" We realized that we should not just do the things we wanted to do, we should realize what Master and Fa-rectification asks us to do. Actually for many Dafa projects, we were led by Master. All of our worries vanished instantly and we started our intense preparation after coming back.

We did not have any path to follow; the experiences from the US could only serve as reference. So we had to do everything from scratch, from finding a theatre to deciding ticket prices, from setting up an association to understanding the financial and tax system, from making advertisements to selling tickets. During this process, we had countless arguments, detours and sleepless nights. But we all tried to follow the standards for practitioners and finally we overcame those difficulties step by step. When the elegance of the Divine Performing Arts Troupe was displayed in Paris and Berlin, the audience and practitioners were deeply shaken. Many audience members, including ourselves, shed tears. How lucky these people were to see a performance of the divine with their own eyes.

During our preparation, we had a deeper understanding of what Master said in the "Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference"?: "Everything I've been doing during the Fa-rectification and everything I want, to spell it out, are the choice of the future cosmos and the needs of the future cosmos. So for the beings of the old cosmos, and this includes all the elements of beings, when it comes to the Fa-rectification and what I choose, all beings' harmonizing and completing things according to my choices and contributing their best ideas and approaches--not to change what I want, but to harmonize and complete things according to what I've said--is the best thought a being in the cosmos could have."

During the whole process of preparation, we experienced many changes. We were frequently told to make changes to the programmes and pictures. Some of them we could understand, while others we could not, but we knew that this was Master's choice and we should follow Master's arrangements without any condition and try our best to harmonize it. This is our most important understanding of Master's teaching.

For example, we originally had invited a well-known musician to take part in our show and did a lot of promotion for him, but later we received notice that we were expected to cancel his programme. That is not because his performance was below standard, but because his show was not in accordance with Master's arrangements. At the beginning, we did not understand. We worried about our profile from ordinary people's point of view and kept running his advertisement for a while. But a few days before the show, Master again said that he wishes us to cancel that man's programme. This time, we realized that we should give up all our ordinary people's notions and follow Master's arrangements without any condition because this was Master's Fa-rectification rather than an ordinary people's show. As a result, our show was extremely successful and the cancelling of that musician's programme did not affect the show at all.

Furthermore, this accident and the arrangements of all the details of the show made us realize that Master's requirement for the show was absolute perfection. Master even concerned himself with all the details, including costume design, venues, lighting and sound, stage backdrop design, and so on. All the practitioners who had contact with Master could feel Master's omnipresent immense compassion.

In "Fa Teaching at the US Capital," Master said: "The entire process of Fa-rectification is the most precious--it is the entirety of the cosmos, and the most remarkable undertaking. The process of Fa-rectification is what's central, so the old forces cannot be allowed to just participate as they wish. Given that this is Fa-rectification, I am particularly insistent on the path I wish to take, as this is about creating the future. All that I have done in the cosmos is most worthy of cherishing, and it is what I will affirm and acknowledge in the future. Things that I don't want cannot be acknowledged or affirmed--they are a disgrace. So in Fa-rectification, no matter what kinds of demonic ordeals I encounter or what kinds of blows I am dealt, they cannot alter my will, nor change what I plan to accomplish."

Another experience I would like to share with you also displays the miraculousness of Dafa and has strengthened our belief in Master.

Two months ago, the two most important cities in Europe, Paris and London, had booked their shows on the same dates in 2008. When both sides refused to budge, we reported it to Master, who suggested we look inside further. Then a miracle emerged: the theatre in London suddenly said it could make our show one week earlier. That meant both cities could hold the show at the best theatre in the weekend they had originally wanted, which had previously seemed impossible. Similar situations happened in other cities. We realized that what Master says is Fa and the arrangements in the human world change accordingly, so the only important thing is whether we follow Master's requirements. We had in fact missed many chances as we could not understand Master's requirements in time, which left us with deep regret.

For the global tour show next year, Master has even higher expectations and requirements on Europe and he even told us directly that certain cities should make efforts to host the show. Many countries we thought did not meet the conditions are now actively preparing to host the show. It is estimated that in 2008, more than 20 cities in over ten countries will have the honour to witness the elegance of the Divine Performing Arts Troupe. This includes Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Turkey. More countries and cities will be added to this list.

We would like to take this chance to encourage more European cities, especially those in eastern and southern Europe, to try to host the Divine Performing Arts Troupe show in 2008. Fa-rectification does not allow us to wait comfortably. At the same time, with our belief in Master and Fa, we can eventually overcome even the biggest difficulties. We are bound to succeed because we are Dafa disciples during the Fa-rectification, the greatest period of the cosmos, and Master is together with us all the time!
