[PureInsight.org] "Photographic Exhibition of Falun Dafa Practitioners' Fa Rectification" was held on October 16th at an exhibit hall of the local government building in Tao Yuan, Taiwan. The exhibit deeply touched audience members who varied greatly in age and social class, including housewives, students, teachers, elderly retirees, lawyers, public servants and businessmen.
On October 18, 2005, an elementary school teacher with the surname of Liang brought her first grade students from Qin Xi primary School to the exhibition. The guide gave the kids a special tour. The kids listened carefully as the guide told them about how Falun Dafa has spread all over the world, how Falun Gong has been persecuted in Mainland China since 1999, the world-wide lawsuits against the former Chinese dictator Jiang, and Falun Gong practitioners' truth clarification efforts.
When they saw the photographs about children of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in Mainland China, the kids expressed their sympathy by saying, "How sad it is!" Actually, the kids are fortunate to have been born and grown up in an environment that promotes democracy, freedom and human rights, and they are too young to imagine the ruthless nature of the Chinese Communist Party.
According to the tour guides, many people who viewed the exhibition have gained a basic knowledge of Falun Dafa. A lawyer surnamed Li not only signed the petition that supports the children who are being persecuted in China but also asked about where he could find a copy of Zhuan Falun to read. A lady was so eager to read the book that she asked to borrow the one that was placed on a bookshelf for display. A tour guide kindly lent her a copy.
A public servant named Huang stayed for almost half a day. He said, "I came here because I heard a lot about Falun Gong. One of my friends is a practitioner. If I hadn't come to the exhibit and viewed the photographs, I would not be able to imagine how Falun Gong has been spreading throughout the world. All practitioners are quietly doing the greatest thing. I admire their harmony and modesty. I have been observing the people who are holding the exhibit and I cannot wait to practice Falun Gong."
Mr. Su is in the construction business and lives in Taipei. He happened to be visiting Tao Yuan on a business trip. He told us that he had a feeling of home when he arrived at the exhibition. He also expressed his curiosity about how Falun Gong is able to spread throughout the world in just 12 short years. He travels frequently to Germany, France and Southeast Asia. No matter anywhere he goes, he could always find "The Epoch Times" at any airport in those countries. Mr. Huang accepted truth clarification material and told us that he will study them well.
During the last six years, Falun Gong practitioners throughout the world have continuously appealed to the public to help stop China's persecution against Falun Gong and give people who have been deceived an opportunity to know that "Falun Dafa is good!"
