[PureInsight.org] Dafa disciples' clarifying the truth in Manhattan requires one to open one's mouth and talk to people. American people do have their sense of justice. We must let the American people know the fact that the Bush government and some big companies are cooperating with the evil Chinese communist party out of consideration for their economic interests.
In front of a truth display site in Manhattan, a practitioner handed a flyer to a government official who was waiting for bus, but he shook his head without even giving her a glance. However, the practitioner did not leave. She started to talk to the person about the persecution Dafa disciples have suffered in China, about how CCP government controls the whole market and uses the Chinese market to threaten US government's support for human rights. Listening to only a few sentences, this official suddenly said, "I understand! I finally understand. I have been seeing you here for a long time and wondered why there is nobody helping you. Why doesn't Bush care. Now, I understand! Now I know where to start to help you." He asked for all the information and appeared to be very touched.
Recently, more and more people stop at our truth display site in Manhattan. It seems that peoples' hearts suddenly woke up. Practitioners who pass out flyers said: people seem to be scrambling for the truth materials these days. There are too few practitioners who can speak English. We hope more New York practitioners who speak English can come to Manhattan to help, even for just one hour during their lunchtimes. When people really understand why Dafa disciples continue to be there in Manhattan, they will take various actions to help. Our clarifying the truth needs to penetrate into society and mobilize all the possible forces to help.
At the beginning, a veteran American reporter did not understand why practitioners were passing out flyers on sidewalks. He wondered what kind purpose it served. When he learned about the efforts Dafa disciples have made with many governments in the world and the UN in the past six years and the fact that the CCP has been putting pressure on the governments of the US and other countries, he said in an agitated tone, "I understand when you explain this way. You cannot just pass out flyers on the streets. You need to make use of media, asking them to call for help for you. I will encourage my media connections to help you. I will make a TV program for you."
For government officials, media workers and big companies' employees and managers in Manhattan, we need to talk to them face to face and get the important points across to them. Sometimes, several sentences will open up their minds. When their hearts are determined to help, the power/momentum of the news passing onto more people will be tremendous. These people will be helping us spread the truth in the mainstream society of the US.
