[PureInsight.org] On November 25, 2004, after the Thanksgiving Parade, some practitioners decided to send forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese consulate in New York City, followed in the afternoon by distributing truth clarification flyers at subway stations. It started to rain just before the practitioners reached the Chinese Consulate. The practitioners did not feel cold at all. Many sent forth righteous thoughts and did the exercises in the rain. The practitioners who distributed flyers at the subway stations came to the Chinese Consulate past 7 p.m. The temperature in Manhattan was dropping. It was getting colder. The warm weather had changed to cold and windy. The practitioners went straight to the Chinese Consulate to send forth righteous thoughts. They did not stop to eat and rest after the truth clarifying activities and distribution of flyers on Wall Street. Practitioners who had not brought along warm clothes asked others to bring some to save time. It would have taken too long to return to the hotel rooms.
In the subway, one could hear one practitioner telling the truth to an everyday person loud enough that all people could hear. One saw practitioners clarifying the truth during rush hour on the main streets. Some of the main streets are like an echo wall with a stereo sound effect and act like a natural amplifier. Many pedestrians could hear the truth, like "The dictator kills Falun Gong practitioner every day and every minute. Two practitioners were killed last month. Twenty-six practitioners were killed during the last two months. Neither the media nor TV reports such atrocities. Please tell your friends and your family members: help stop the killing! I am from another country and my English is poor. We are here to appeal to the people to help us stop the persecution. Every retelling is helpful and every retelling will be another soul having the wish to stop the persecution, every word on this subject has strength. This persecution endangers everyone."
Practitioners save people just like that. People crossed the road without taking truth material. They came back to take the material after hearing the truth clarification. No matter how many people crossed the street and no matter how fast they walked, they all could hear truth. Some pedestrians stretch out their hand to receive truth clarification material. Most of them will accept a flyer once they heard that this is the Falun Gong flyer. Very few were discarded within 20 meters.
Inexperienced practitioners do not say that the materials are truth clarification materials. They distribute materials fast. Sadly, some of such truth clarification material was discarded in a trash-can within 15 meters.
We decided that two people were distributing truth clarification material on the subway trains, from the first car to the last car, not missing one. On November 24, some practitioners thought that practitioners should concentrate on the subway. More than three non-English speaking practitioners were in a group. Some were worried about getting lost. This made it difficult to coordinate as one body. I think five people should make a group. They should practice the exercises, send righteous thoughts, and hold up small banners with brief Statements on them, as well as distribute truth clarification materials.
Please don't forget to do the three things together. Clarify the truth, bringing it to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not missing a single area where there are people. Save people with a sincere heart. Every remark and action of Dafa disciples is a reflection of their realm of enlightenment. They help fashion a new world in displaying their own attainment of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. Otherwise, practitioners are no different than printers or flyer distribution machines.
Hand out truth clarification materials with a sincere heart. Every sentence and every action of Dafa disciples create a new world, fashioned from different layers of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Otherwise, practitioners will become printers and machines for distributing materials.
