[PureInsight.org] When I read Master's new article, "My Version of a 'Stick Wake-up,'" in particular, when I read the sentence, "Dafa disciples are now seen by the gods in a new light, having become beings forged by Dafa amidst the Fa-rectification--the Disciples of Dafa." I could not hold back my tears. Yes, there is no other name more noble and glorious than "Disciples of Dafa!" We are Dafa disciples. We are beings forged by Dafa. We are the disciples directly saved by Master. Dafa disciples, what a holy and great title!
When talking about interference by the demon of lust in Zhuan Falun, Master mentioned a story of a practitioner from Wuhan city. The practitioner saw Buddha Amitabha and Laozi while he was doing the sitting meditation. Then Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara showed up and tested him by creating some flying heavenly girls. In the past I only realized that this was for teaching us how to deal with demon of lust. Recently, I suddenly enlightened to something more. We are Dafa disciples, and our Master is neither Amitabha nor Laozi. Are they worthy of telling us what to do and how to do things? How are they worthy of saying, "This kid is teachable?" Our Master will arrange every step of our cultivation, and we do not need tests from others. Now I realize that the key point of his first thought on the test, is the last sentence: "I am not an ordinary person. I'm a practitioner. You shouldn't treat me this way, for I'm a Falun Dafa practitioner." (From Lecture Six of Zhuan Falun) Yes, we are not regular cultivators; we are cultivating the Fa of the universe. From the very beginning of our cultivation, every particle of our bodies, in the microscopic level, is freshly made by the Fa of "Zhen, Shan, Ren." We are no longer our previous selves.
When sharing with those practitioners in China who have not stepped forward yet, I could feel that they lack righteous thought on this point. Speaking from an ordinary people's perspective, they have not even eliminated the feeling of being self-abased, let alone developing the state of "A great Arhat in the world, Spirits and ghosts fear most"(From "Mighty Virtue"), and the momentum of sending forth righteous thoughts: "as tall as heaven and incomparably noble"(formula from the first exercise). Many of these practitioners enter Dafa with the pursuit of having their illnesses cured. In their minds, Gods and Buddhas are so far away and unachievable. I am such a small figure, so tiny in the society that no one would even notice me, and by no means be considered as successful. As petty and incapable as I am, how could it be possible to cultivate into a Buddha? This notion sounds so humble, reasonable; and seems to revere of Buddha, and looks as if he has positioned man and Gods correctly. But in fact, this reveals that he did not really understand the true nature of cultivation.
In "Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference," Master told us, "And at even higher levels, concepts like eliminating karma, enduring hardships, and cultivation no longer exist, and it's just a choice! This is the principle at high levels of the cosmos: you think someone is good enough, so you choose him--that's the principle." If we truly believe in Buddhahood, that Buddhas are omnipotent, that the Lord Buddha can even create everything in the universe, couldn't He choose the beings whom he wants to save? Couldn't he clean up his disciples and bring them to heaven? Of course he can! It is just a tiny thing for him! Then why should we be self-abased? From the most microscopic level up, our lives are built up of the very best material from each level. The very nature of our lives is made up of the Fa. Why can't we raise our heads high, act as an impressive and dignified individual, and "assist Master in his journey in this human world" ("Assisting the Fa")?
Yes, I am a Dafa disciple, so that I shall "Follow Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa" ("The Knowing Heart"). Master asks us to do well the three things, so I will do them well. Isn't everything contained in them?
This is just something I enlightened to during Fa study. If there is anything wrong, please point it out to me.
