[PureInsight.org] I obtained the Fa in 1997 in Bangkok. Before I practiced Falun Dafa, I constantly searched for the truth but I could not find any answers to my many questions. I felt frustrated because there were so many things that I could not understand. This continued until the day I obtained the Fa, when my search for the truth was put to an end. On that day, I took up cultivation practice. The longer I cultivate for, the more changes I notice in the depth of my being. In the process of eliminating my attachments to fame, profit and sentimentality, my moral character was upgraded and I also understood the meaning of life. Through understanding the Fa at different levels, I clearly felt that it was only Fa that could make everything return to its original state.
After July 20, 1999, the environment grew tough. How could we validate Dafa in the face of the numerous complexities and pressures? I saw many fellow practitioners in Thailand validating the Fa through various methods. Some distributed Dafa materials in public settings, some used their high social rank to clarify the truth to people from different social strata, and some contacted the media in newspaper offices and TV stations. These practitioners wanted to tell the truth, that practicing Falun Gong helps people improve their health and morality. At the beginning, since there were relatively few practitioners involved, we felt helpless, anxious and scared. Slowly but surely, sharing our cultivation experiences with one another helped our group to be firmer. Although the path was difficult, we persisted in breaking through the barriers, like true Dafa disciples.
But amidst the Fa-rectification, Thailand was behind in the process, compared to other countries. Fellow practitioners who were at different cultivation states had different views of the course of action and the environment. In order to work together and to improve as a whole, we needed to resolve our differences based on the Fa. Dafa can harmonize everything for us. Although the methods of clarifying the truth appear to be different, the goal is the same. I believe that when we understand the Fa deeper and communicate with each other better, Dafa disciples in Thailand can work together in greater harmony.
At the beginning of my cultivation, I used to feel that I was a righteous being who had tried his best to follow the requirements of Dafa. Although I thought that helping to save sentient beings during the Fa-rectification period was my responsibility, I had the passive attitude that sentient beings also determined their own fate in history. But after I read Master's Fa-lecture during the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference, "Do you know what principle I go by in Fa-rectification? I disregard all the sins beings have committed in the past! (Applause) During this Fa-rectification I only look at beings' attitudes toward the Fa-rectification!" I was shocked and felt Master's tremendous compassion for saving the colossal firmament. At the same time, I also found my gaps that were due to a lack of understanding of the Fa. Consequently, I had failed to detect the cause of my impure thoughts. I deeply felt that only by assimilating with Dafa and rectifying the self can we treat sentient beings with the utmost compassion and complete Dafa disciples' mission in the human world.
Finally, to encourage our fellow practitioners, let me quote a paragraph in Master's Fa-lecture during the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference, "Don't entertain or get attached to any human thoughts, and just do what a Dafa disciple should do. Everything that's wonderful, that's the most magnificent, and that's the most glorious awaits you!"
